Merry Christmas

My Christmas card stash is growing fabulously, with this one to add. I'm using the palette at Just Us Girls #263 - Purple, Olive and Navy and as these are Non-traditional Christmas colours I'm also posting to Merry Monday #131.
This card started as I had left over Distress Ink (crushed olive) on my brayer and so I quickly rolled the inside of the tree embossing folder and ran it through the Cuttlebug...well that was terrible so I turned it over and with the lighter leftover ink it worked beautifully brayered over the raised  image - accidentally it got on the edges of the card too but that worked fine too to soften the edge. I mounted it on olive card and die cut Merry from purple card. I stamped the Christmas sentiment in purple and framed it with a scrap and then finished the card with a few navy and white pearls.
Thanks for taking a peek Robyn

  1. That tree is one of my favourite (old) Christmas embossing folders and still love it. Love non traditional coloured Christmas cards and you have done a great job with brayering the bling and sentiment here. So glad you joined our Colour /Challenge this week over at JUGS.
