Don't Judge Each Day by the Harvest....

Isn't it amazing some days what you get into your head to do/try out.
So this gorgeous winter Sunday afternoon I decided to step out of my comfort zone and tackle a mixed media plaque for the Summer of Colour 5 - Week Two....colours Pink + Pink + Orange....I have just discovered this challenge and  was lead here via Mandysea at A Teacup of Scrapisms and then discovered quite a few crafty ladies I see at WOYWW have been playing along too.
I did have fun with the Coloured card stock (stuff I probably wouldn't have used elsewhwere), torn ans scrunched Tissue paper and Mod Podge, Gesso, Texture Paste and Sprays, Stencils and Dies and finally Stamps... will check back at Week One and see if I can step out of my zone again.  And this also leads me to post to Simon Says Monday challenge  - Don't Cut, Just Paste....I think it fits in well with their theme as well.
  Thanks for taking a peek

Challenge: Don’t cut, just paste!

  7. This turned out beautifully! I am so impressed at the rich blending of colors that you created and I love the texture and depth. I like the little bits of bling you added with those gems and I thought it was clever of you to repeat the circular patterns and dots as accents. Wonderful work and I'm so glad you shared this with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
