Be Jolly tag

My tag this afternoon is inspired by Karen's tag (below) on Day 8 at Twelve Tags of Christmas.  I was inspired to create my own 'jolly' die cut word - I placed my letter dies next to each other at angles on a large piece of card and ran that through the cuttlebug.  Then I hand cut around the negatives of the die cut card (see pic above), then for my 'be' - I die cut the word 'best' from a set and cut off the 'st'.  I really like the colours Karen used so this piece of Brushos background became my tag which I layered onto a bright blue card. So my die cut word would pop I mounted it on a turquoise coloured card (similar to Karen) and finally added a die cut snowflake, a few gem and ribbon.  Thanks for taking a peek
PS - overnight I realised I hadn't used any stamping on my tag so this morning I have added some snowflakes, stamped in Versamark and dusted with Interference Gold

  3. Love that brushos background for your tag. Such gorgeous saturated colours. And so clever to die-cut around your letters to create your own "jolly". I had never thought of that. Very creative and beautiful tag Robyn. Thanks so much for sharing at my tag event!

  5. How clever Robyn to design your own "be Jolly" die cut sentiment. That would be so fun to try. TFS your beautiful brushos tag CASE'ing Karen's tag. Isn't it fun to be inspired by each other? Hugs, Nancy
