Christmas Wishes tag

My last tag today for Day 5 of Twelve Tags of Christmas.... and I was inspired by Christine's tag (below) which caught my eye because it was just a bit different using stencils and a different colour palette.  I created my tag background by firstly smooching with Distress Oxides - which I wasn't too happy with but was able to add a few more smooches and some sponging with stencils.  Then I coloured some texture paste and added some holly leaves and stamped on my sentiment.  Next I stamped, watercoloured and fussy cut my poinsettia twice and added some micro beads for the center.... then attached it to the tag with foam tape, and finished off with a twine thread.  Thanks for taking a peek

  3. Great interpretation of Christine's tag. Beautiful mix of colours ... your layered stencils look awesome, Robyn. I like the coloured paste ... have done it a few times, but not often. It's very effective! Your layered poinsettia is beautifully coloured. Lots of depth ... and the microbeads are so pretty in the center. Thanks for joining my tag event! xx
