Oh, Christmas tree

My first Christmas card for the year...so my stash begins.
I stamped this tree in green ink and sprinkled Egyptian Gold embossing powder on only part of it - it's not just a flat gold when heated and there are tiny spots of gold over the green -very glittery.  To go with the shiny theme I used a gold embossed sentiment and two tone star, then layered the top panel onto gold and green metallic paper.  I am posting to Watercooler Wednesday WWC159 - All About Christmas challenge.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your week

  1. Wow Robyn, what a clever idea to heat emboss only a portion of that lovely green tree in gold. It makes such a statement! And, of course, having the sentiment and that wonderful star on top heat embossed in the same gold really adds to the elegance. I love all that layering you've done. The gold and green metallic papers add even more elegance and must make this work of art shine. Love it! Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

  3. Everything about this Christmas tree is so special. I'm a sucker for embossing, especially gold embossing so I naturally am in love with the beautiful bright and shiny star, partial embossing on the tree and gorgeous sentiment. Your shading around the tree adds a nice touch as well. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing at the Watercooler Wednesday All About Christmas Challenge this week.
