Summer Holiday ATC

ATC time again at Happy Little Stampers - October theme is Holiday.
First I lightly coloured my sky and sand with dye inks on textured card, and stamped on my seashell and seagull.  Then I used large letter stamps for part of my Title and cut an 'S' from thick card, coloured and decorated with micorbeads.  Next I cut a strip of white zigzag corrugated card and painted the raised areas with Twinkling H2Os to represent the waves and added some microbeads too.  From my ribbon stash I used sheer ribbon with tiny blue feet which I positioned over the sand... like walking in the sand.  To finish I attahed my ATC to a blue back card, hand wrote on some words and attached a surf board trinket (only had 2 so made one of my own).  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your weekend.

Handmade with Love

For my Vintage themed ATC for Happy Little Stampers September ATC challenge I chose a 'sewing ' theme.  I stamped and fussy cut my sewing machine and thread spool card.  I wound brown cotton thread to the spool and lightly coloured the machine.  I stamped the tape measure along one side of the base panel and attached some lacey designer paper to the other and stamped some stitching lines along it too. Then to finish I stamped my sentiment on lined paper cut it out and attached it with the other elements and a row of rickrack braid and three mini buttons.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your weekend.

Let your Dreams Set Sail

My 'Water' ATC for the August Happy Little Stampers ATC challenge features a yacht - stamped in black on a scrap of gloss card with Distress Inks sponged on but because of it's gloss finish it dries rapidly so there's no blending.  I added some marker and gel pen to the image and stamped on my sentiment to finish. Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day.

Happy Little Stampers August ATC challenge - WATER

This month I am "happy" to be the Guest Designer

I have made three ATCs for the water theme...

First my Fishy Tale ATC..... I used an embossing folder with whirls of water with a blue water wash to add depth to the scene. Then stamped and embossed my 'splash' with green ink and fussy cut this. Next I stamped my fish and coloured him with Twinkly H2Os so it has a sparkle like a wet fish and to finish stamped own sentiment... Fishy Tale... (not tail) - like the 'big one that got away' or for the fish 'a leap of hope'.

For my second ATC I created some long drips on my background with Hot Glue and the sprinkled on some blue Brushos and misted with lots of water.  I stamped, colour and fussy cut my lady with umbrella image and to finish printed off my sentiment and outlined the edge of the pieces with ink - who doesn't enjoy a walk in the rain especially when you live in the tropics/

I'm a fan of Waterlilies and sunrises so have used them for my third ATC.  I stamped the large background image and used Distress Oxides to colour this, then misted it lightly with Perfect Pearls.  Then I stamped my waterlily, coloured with DO and fussy cut it. And from the same stamp cut my sentiment.
Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day...... please pop over to the HLS blog and join in the ATC challenge.

Chill out with me and an Iced Coffee

Today I have an ATC to share... stamped my image in brown ink and used Distress Inks to watercolour it and fussy cut it out.  I used a brown base card with to pink layers behind my image attached with foam tape.  To finish I added my own sentiment.  I am playing along with Happy Little Stampers ATC July challenge - Coffee, with Stamplorations Never Ending Anything Goes challenge.
Thanks for visiting and enjoy your weekend

Just Smile

I had planned my ATC and funnily enough it included a cat like others on the challenge at Happy Little Stampers ATC June challenge - SMILE... but I changed my mind when I saw this verse by Spike Milligan on FB this morning I just wanted to share it... so I printed it off and attached it to a background panel made with swiping glue across it and when dry adding Distress Inks (must experiment with this technique a bit more).  Then I stamped 'smile' in black and clear embossed it and then stamped 'just' above it.  I added so interest with some stamped foliage along the sides.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day.

Happy Little Stampers June ATC - SMILE

This month I am happy to be the Guest Designer for

I have three ATCs to share with you.... the bottom two I have used HLS Whimsical Friends stamps.
So I started a search through my stamp stash for 'smile' sentiments - heaps of them, even a camera for two and then into my Designer Paper stash and found the one piece with cameras all over it for the background panel.

I added a little grin line to my stamped elephant after I coloured and fussy cut him out.  I found some DP to use as his blanket and added gems to the fringe.  For the background I stamped and embossed my sentiment and then used Distress Oxides to add diamond pattern to the bottom.

I wanted to use a camera on one ATC so thought these two bird friends could be taking a 'selfie'.  Stamped, colored and fussy cut my camera - these different size birds in the set so I stamped them in the camera lens too. I stamped my colourful birds on shaving cream paper from my stash and cut them out and I added my die cut sentiment vertically for a change.

For my third ATC, I wanted to do something a little different and found this sentiment that really says it all and only needed a pretty background.... this is piece from my stash, made with Gelatos which I used to colour texture paste and used through a stencil, to finish I added a dragonfly button.
Please pop over to the Happy Little Stampers blog and join in with the challenge this month and thanks for visiting... enjoy your day, Smile

You brighten everyone's day..

For this ATC I have used a swirl stamp, inked and embossed in gold EP.  Then I've sprinkled on Brushos and spritzed with water - I moved some of the powder around with a wet brush and dabbed off the water before the colours got 'muddy'. When it was dry I cleaned up the golcud embossed areas and then stamped my sentiment in gold too on blue card, fussy cut it and then thought it looked lost so I framed it with white fussy cut card.  To finish I mounted it on the blue card. I am posting to Happy Little Stampers ATC May challenge - Gold theme.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your weekend

Butterfly ATC

The ATC challenge for Happy Little Stampers this month is Butterfly - I am really happy with how this little work of art turned out. I used a printed image for my background, sponged on some colour, stamped my butterfly image off the edge, coloured it and added some Interference Gold for some shine - also did the same to a little wooden butterfly. Then I added some texture on the corners and used a blue card base to frame it.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day

Sprinkle Joy.....

Happy sunny day from my desk this morning .... late yesterday I had an inspiration to make an ATC for the Happy Little Stampers ATC challenge  - Trees.  I painted a little landscape with my Distress Oxides and then stamped on my trees... with repeat stamping using my misti I was able to added different greens for the leaves on the front tree. Added my stamped sentiment and mounted the panel to a green grey card. Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day
