For my two cards for Darnell's Twofer Card challenge #5 displaying Butterflies, I decided to use some of my designer paper stash... to help with my colour choices....then to choose a stamp or die cut.... never realised how many of both I to have, all sizes and shapes. I decided on a stamped image. My first DP is faun, cream and pinks... then I stamped my butterfly on a bright pink and cream script piece from the same pack and fussy cut it out before touching up sections of the image with Distress Oxides. I used the off cuts to die cut some foliage and a strip for my pink stamped and embossed sentiment.
My second DP is a butterfly background on textured card in beige and cream. I decided to stamp my butterflies in brown ink and used sponged Distress Oxides to colour them and then fussy cut them out. I used cream card stock to cut two foliage sprays and dull gold metallic paper to die cut a label on which I displayed my die cut sentiment...used the same DO inks to colour this.
Thanks for visiting and enjoy your weekend
