Happy birthday

With my easel birthday card today I have used two die cut to layer - I stamped and water coloured this posy and mostly die cut it with a circle die leaving the stems to fussy cut, then I layered it onto a fancy doily die cut and mounted all onto the front of my card.  Finished off with a birthday sentiment layered on matching card and a bow.

Calendar - easel card

CCC-Blinkie---all-sidesThis month for the Society of Stampaholics Card Chain Challenge I chose to use the sketch and make an easel Calendar card for my recipient...Dawn in NZ - who kindly took this photo for me as I'd sent it off without thinking. I used the papers from Kaisercraft Pickled Pear and stamped a matching floral image and coloured that (under the easel), then added the mini calendar to support the easel. Calendar card

I have finished another Calendar card for the Scor-pal challenge #10

"More Than One Score" Challenge #10 - Family/Thanksgiving.

These will be for my family when we visit in the New Year. Designer paper makes them easy to put together also to make use of those tags/sentiments included in the 6x6 packs....this one is very pretty and I think my mum will like it. I am going to add a ribbon hanger to the back of the vertical front and a strip of double sided tape to hold the front to the base so it can be used as a hanging calendar; this should help it lay flat on the wall.

Christmas, Winter Wonderland

  christmasblog

So as per usual I'm spending my Saturday afternoon skyping with cardmarker friend Vikki...and sadly this will be my last Saturday for a few weeks as next week will be frantic last minute preparations for our 6 week holiday...we are at present packing up house to leave Karratha and by 10th of August will be living for a short time in Perth, Western Australia. Here is my card for the Winter Wonderland challenge for this week - Candy Canes...well you've go to look carefully to see my santa with his canes but I did have fun putting together this easel card and adding to my Christmas card pile of 55cards.
