Peace on Earth
I was really inspired to stamp a scene yesterday as I've been seeing some fabulous inspiration on Pinterest.
So I masked off a skyline on a white panel and stamped my tree tops on the horizon and a large tree to the side but then I had to paint my own fence which in the end I'm quite pleased with. I stamped on my pine sprigs across the top and to finish stamped the sentiment and sponged the edge and popped it up with some foam tape, then mounted the panel on a blue card. I am playing along with the Jingle Belles challenge - Peace on Earth, The Holly and Ivy Christmas challenge #11 - Anything Goes and Addicted to Stamps and More #253 - Holiday theme. Merry Christmas
This afternoon I combined two challenges to come up with another Christmas card for my stash.
I used the layout at CAS(E) this Sketch CTS#321 and the theme at Shopping Our Stash #312.
My super cute House Mouse stamp came in very handy for the theme to use a Light Globe on your card so I stamped and embossed my image, coloured it with Distress Inks and added some gold Inference Powder so the lights appeared to me glowing. I used the square stitched die to cut the image and added a red banner. To finish I stamped the sentiment and die cut it with a star shape and with the die still in place, added some sponged yellow and gold Inference Powder. We Wish You a Merry Christmas
Today my card is for two challenges...Merry Monday challenge #252 - Photo Inspiration, and The Holly and Ivy Christmas challenge #8 - Anything Goes.
I was inspired to use baubles, and flowers and leaves and the chalk board sentiment caught my eye...I used this lovely designer paper as my background - and stamped, colored and fussy cut my santa ornament and Christmas floral sprig. Then to create my chalk board sentiment I stamped the words in Versamark and used chalk pastels to colour it and added a stitched line with my embossing pen and chalk. I layered my panel on dark green card onto a red card. Thanks for taking a peek.

Happy Kissmas
When I saw the theme; Mistletoe, for this weeks #249 Merry Monday challenge I knew right off I had this little House Mouse stamp to use, and then found I also had a mistletoe branch. I stamped my images in brown and coloured them with Distress Inks, then fussy cut the mistletoe. I had this cute embossed sentiment in my stash and just smooched the edges with pale blue. Then I assembled the card with two layers and to finish arranged the mistletoe sprigs.

Merry Christmas and 'Tis the Season
I have created two Christmas cards this week using the inspiration at Merry Monday #243 - Create a Scene. With the first card I painted the background using my Brushos with some help from a YouTube tute. ... using the tops of my tree stamps over a mask for the hilly slopes after the sky and slope shading was dry... I love this technique as you can multiple stamp the trees in different shades and pull the ink around with a wet brush. To finish I stamped and coloured my Santa, fussy cut and mounted him with 3D tape, then added a stamped sentiment.
For the second card I wanted to use these newish tree dies - after I cut them on textured card I swiped some darker green ink so the perforated branches would show a bit and dabbed about with some white gel pen. For the background I stamped this village scene (forgot I had this) and cut away the top so I could use the bottom to mask off the snowy field. I sponged Distress Ink in blues and grey and spritzed it with Perfect Pearls to create this lovely sky. When it was dry and stamped in the village and coloured the houses and added some shading on the slopes. To finish I mounted the panel onto a contrasting layer and added my trees and a stamped sentiment.

May the Music of Christmas warm your Heart
A quiet Good Friday here at my house with my men heading off to visit our parents for a week...so I've pretty much had a relaxing day. And found some time to make this vintage style Christmas card for a couple of challenges. The April theme at 52 (Christmas) Card challenge is Musical Notation and Happy Little Stampers April Christmas challenge would like some Embossing.
I found this great piece of designer paper in a pad and some matching card to layer it onto. I decided to decorate one edge with some lace and ribbon and to finish I stamped and embossed my sentiment onto banner with sponged edges and then added some die cut foliage in three shades of green and added three little burgundy pearls. I am also posting to Holly and Ivy Christmas challenge #3 - Anything Goes. Thanks for taking a peek

Merry Christrmas
I used the colours burgundy, lime and cream for this Christmas card - used my Misti to stamp the tree in three shades of green and then added some die cut mini, shiny gold stars. After I layered the card panels I wrapped some burgundy ribbon and a bow to bottom and decided to stamp my sentiment sideways for a change. I am combining four challenges.... Jingle Belles - Bling, add some sparkly and shine, Holly and Ivy Christmas challenge - Anything Goes, Happy Little Stampers Christmas March challenge with optional twist - a Star, 52 (Christmas) Card Throw Down colour challenge. 'Twas the night before Christmas
A fun Christmas card from me this morning.... I am casing Cornelia's card for the Muse; Christmas Vision challenge this month. Her Christmas kitty peering over the wall inspired me to make my Santa on the roof going down the chimney. I used embossing folders to create a textured roof and chimney stack and top, and the chimney top. Then I used a solid stamp for my Santa... and rather than try and colour the stamp with markers I stamped him in antique linen Distress Ink and then used Brushos to colour him in. I fussy cut him and attached all my pieces to a snowflake embossed white back panel....which I mounted on navy blue card to represent the night sky. Finished off the card with a stamped sentiment. I am also posting to Holly and Ivy Christmas challenge where they are celebrating their very first challenge...Anything Goes, and to Addicted to Stamps and More #233 ... Holiday theme.
