For my last card today I'm CASEing Shery's card for this months Stamplorations CASEplorations challenge.  I sponged some Distress Ink over a background created with ink on scrunched plastic bag. Then stamped the sentiment in black but it was kinda lost so I cut it out and mounted on white to frame it.  Thanks for taking a peek

Here's my cheerful happy happy happy birthday card for the Stamplorations February CASEplorations challenge - inspired by the lovely card by Anita. I created the background card with Magical Mica Mist - love the bright colours. Triple die cut the word Happy and stamped the Birthday sentiment...the hardest part is collecting all the small cutouts and gluing them in place.  Thanks for taking a peek

Sending All My Love

Well it's been a very uncreative month so I am pleased that on the last few days of January I have found a bit of creative mojo and have made a few projects.  My card today is for Stamplorations CASEplorations - casing a gorgeous card from Laura Bassen. I chose to colour my texture paste in shades of pink/red as my take on her card...mine is definitely "texturey".... is that then 'rough love'

Babies are....

Today I was so itching to make a card and all August there were thoughts to again join in with the CASEplorations over at Stamplorations and now I've not much time to enter my post.  I have also chosen to make a BABY card for Shery who has recently had a little girl - Congratulations to the Russ family.  I created the background with mists and stencils and then stamped the sentiment three times (CASEing Karens card below). Birthday Wishes

Mynn at On A Stampage is celebrating her blogs 5th Blogiversary, so I have made this cupcake birthday card to congratulate her.  An easy card where I've layered some gorgeous cupcake dp onto pale pink and then stamped my cupcake onto dp for some paper piecing.  Add a scalloped oval for a doiley and some glitter on the cherry. Finished the card with a layered birthday sentiment. I am posting to CASEplorations at Stamplorations.... I've cased Monika's cupcake card. Go After Your Dreams

My card today is for the CASEplorations July challenge at Stamplorations... and I decided to CASE Monika's card below on the Inspiration Project Post #26...loved the colour (in a yellow mood this week), loved the white die cut leaves and loved the hand drawn border - don't do this very often so it was my set out of your comfort zone thing. I've been using up this yellow masterboard I made a few weeks back and added a few extra 'blops'  in Twinkling H2Os so they are shiny.  I also coloured my stamped butterfly with H2Os and gave him new feelers..black inked flower stamen. Finished my card with a Stamplorations sentiment and my border. Thanks for taking a peek

Today I have had my Twinkling H2Os out and colouring in these "Wild" Kingfishers...lol

Anyway ...I have used one of my backgrounds created with a favourite technique...applying Distress Inks and then overspraying with Perfect Pearls Mist...which gives it a gorgeous soft shiny finish, then I added some stamped leaves to frame it. Next I used my favourite product...Twinkling H2Os, to colour my image/s (I decided one just needed a friend and that solved my sentiment problem) - I just love the bright shiny colours and that you can mix them to create your own shades. Finished the card with a sentiment and a few fussy cut leaves.  I am posting to Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Favourite Technique or Product and to Inkspirational..with their theme WILD....I think my Kingfishers could be classified as wild. And I am CASEing Deepti's cool bird card for the CASEplorations June challenge and as I have also used Stamplorations stamps - birds and leaves I am posting to Stamplorations - Anything goes challenge. Here's a little message for You

It's a special Wednesday today as my friend Vikki is at her desk and we are skyping. 

For this card I chose to stamp the kingfisher as my project for our ABC Tag/Card challenge and the letter "K".  I am playing along with CASEplorations this month over at Stamplorations - have used the kingfisher from the Small birds set and the Honeycomb Delight stencil for the background, and have chosen to CASE Shirley's Kookaburra card - using a bird and stenciled background (can that be called CASEing??)

And am posting to Addicted to Stamps and More - Clean & Simple challenge  #148....a very big Happy 3rd Birthday team - Congratulations.

Challenge #148 and it's our 3rd Birthday!!!

Merry Christmas

YYYAAAHOOOO, my first Christmas card for this year (last year I had half of my 70 odd made - so you can see why I'm happy). This card is a CASE of Kims card over at Stamplorations - May CASEplorations...I love her card; white on the kraft. And over at Merry Monday #159 - a request for a card with Non-Evergreen trees.  Now I am not at home and didn't bring my collection of Christmas stamps so I had to be creative...found 'twig' stamp and thought it could pass for a tree, stamped in dark brown and added some snow with a white gel pen. Finished off with a sentiment, a flick of pearl mist and a wrap of twine and bow.  Thanks for taking a peek
