Birthday Wishes

Week #210  'Anything Goes'
It's our daughters birthday this coming week so I have made this card for her...I'm really happy with how it turned out. I'm playing along with The Shabby Tea Room #210 this week where their theme is Open -"Anything Goes". I stamped the background card, dry embossed the corner on the underlying card and layered two Chocolate Baroque flowers, then finished it off with a fancy tag and sentiment .  Thanks for taking a peek Robyn

Shabby Roses Birthday

I've made this "So Ramantic" themed card for a dear elderly relative of mine in the UK and later today I need to brave the rain and go and post it.  I've used the Shabby Tea Room #200 photo  for my  inspiration and added two little ribbon roses with an organnza bow, some die cut foliage and pink pearls.  Thanks for taking a peek Robyn

Friends are Angels

COLORS FROM THE PHOTO AND INCLUDE FLOWERS, RIBBON AND NEWSPRINT!

Back at my desk this fine Monday morning to post this card I had mostly completed on Saturday - the layout is for the Freshly Made Sketches #93 challenge, the colours are for The Shabby Tea Room #173 - Glorious Flowers challenge which I missed posting to - so am also inspired to post it on the Inkspirational #27 colour challenge and the the lovely butterfly inspiration from CASE Study #148.  I very happy with how it turned out with soft colours - it's amazing the shades of mauve ink I have (must be a favourtie colour) and also when you look how many butterfly stamps I have.
Thanks for taking a peek and have a super creative week.

Framed birthday wish

WHITE PLUS ONE OTHER COLOR AND INCLUDE A FRAME!

Happy weekend blog visitors - my first card today is for The Shabby Tea Rooms week#156 'Frame It' challenge. I love white on whites so I had to have a go at this card. I used a couple of spellbinders to create the frame and colour embossed it with swiss dots and used a soft aqua as the one colour for this feminine birthday card. My lovely bow and button embellishment also fits with the challenge over at Divas by design - Buttons and Bows  Thanks for taking a peek

Shabby Tea Room, The Paper Player

Today Vikki and I are sharing our Saturday morning as she's a 'dancing' engagement and evening out with hubby  today - enjoy Vikki and Trev.  I've put together a 'Pretty" card today using the soft colours from the Shabby Tea Room week #137 challenge - a Vintage Charm theme using the colours in the photo and also include a Charm. I also played along with the Paper Players P#118 and their challenge to include a Frame. As I'm working out of our caravan with limited stamping gear ...I didn't have any charms so I've made this pearl button myself....thanks for taking a peek

Colour throw down, the Shabby Tea Room

Oh I do like the colours this week for the Colour Throwdown CTD177 - all bright and cheery and then the Shabby Tea Room challenge Week #99 - 'Love is in the Air' - a card with a Valentine's theme and including a mail or postage element - my card evolved into this when I had to decided on a sentiment to add.  I was experimenting with my embossing folders and inking up the raised side and brayering over the card on top to create the background...and here we go my card!!!  Thanks for taking a peek.

The Shabby Tea Room challenge #86

Hope you are all enjoying a wonderful weekend...I'm extra happy today as hubby flew in last night after being away for 16 days. I've made my card for the Shabby Tea Room challenge - Homespun fall using the wonderful colours in the pic above. Mine represents a wreath of autumn leaves for the front door and chose to use the words of the verse inside to say it all! Thanks for taking a peek

The Shabby Tea Room challenge #76

Today my friend Vikki suggested we try the Sweet Days of Summer challenge. I just loved the colours of the picture and I haven't made a floral card for ages so I was rapt. I used my punches to make these flowers - the larger ones are using the Nellie Snellen punch and emboss sets and the smaller ones with the Martha Stewart punch. Hope you like my take on this....I'm very happy. Thanks again for taking a peek this weekend
