Hello Friend

How's you weekend going?  We're having lovely weather and I've enjoyed some quiet time at my desk....  I have a card for the Muse Challenge #261 where we are casing Tracey's lovely fresh floral card... flowers are a favourite of mine - real and on card.  I really like the colours, her layout, the fussy cut image, and then the sentiment - stamped and die cut.... so I've just done the same... I stamped my image and used Distress Oxides to watercolour it, then cut it out.  I die cut my 'hello' and then glued it to white card and cut around that too.  Then to finish I just stamped the rest of my sentiment and attached all the elements with foam tape.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your weekend.

A card for two challenges today - Watercooler Wednesday WWC165 - All About Occasions, and Double 'D' challenge - Twine.  Stamped my image offset to one side and then for a change used coloured pencils to colour it.  Stamped on my sentiment and framed my panel in textured paper onto a white card.....and to finish tied on a strand of twisted twine.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your weekend.

Happy Happy Birthday

I once figured as you got older time would slow down... nope, not even when you've stopped working.  So I'm pushing time again to finish and post my House Mousse card for challenge HMFMC263 - I've chosen Anything Goes this fortnight.  Stamped, embossed and coloured my image then used a stitched die to cut out the panel.  Used some bright cheerful DP for the background and framed that with bright pink paper on a white card.  Added a bit of decoration - some die cut corners and then a die cut 'Happy' and finally a stamped sentiment which I attached with foam tape.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your weekend.

I have an Ornament card today for CAS Christmas April challenge . This is my favourite ornament stamp...which I stamped and embossed in silver EP.  Then I used Distress Oxides to watercolour the image, with a touch of Perfect Pearls on the star.  My sentiment is die cut from sparkly silver card and to finish a silver bow.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day.

 

Water coloured Owl

I love this old rubber stamp Owl, so I knew I'd have to give him a go for the CAS Watercolour April challenge - Bird.  Stamped my image in brown Versafine and used Distress Oxides to watercolour the bird and then Distress Ink for the background, also a touch of white gel pen for the eyes and black marker.  Foam mounted on a white card and no sentiment to mess him up... Merry Christmas

Cutting it fine again for my posting to the sketch at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown - 52CCT14-18.
Is started on Wednesday with a mind to do some masked sponging but a wee little helper hid under my desk with the scissors, she's 2 1/2 and was watching me trim. Anyway a change of plans and I fussy cut the ornaments, sponged them with Distress Oxides -with some masking, stamped my sentiment to the middle one and mounted them with foam tape to my spotting embossed cream card.  Found some DP for the top and added some die cut pine branches....
