Happy Birthday
Ok, so today I have my third card for the May CAS Mix Up challenge - Gelatos or Crayons. I tried something different and made a background panel with two colours. First off though I thought I'd see what would happen with Gelatos over wax paper resist... so ironed the crinkled wax paper onto just normal card not gloss) and then applied Raspberry Gelato with a dry wet one - not much happened so sprayed some water on my wet one and smooched it about... it picked up in a few places - you might be able to see in pic. Then I took a stencil and using Snow Cone Gelato added colour to the dry wet one and sprayed it with water... so while I applied it the water caused some areas to really lighten up and the blue shows nicely - I'm liking the end result. To finish, I cut down the panel to fit and added a few punched flowers with white gel pen centers and lastly stamped my sentiment in Peacock Feather Distress Oxide. That wasn't the end though --- I stamped the sentiment on the back of the card so had to cut that panel off and added it to another card.. my elements are Gelatos, stamping, stencils, wax resist. Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day

Thinking About You
On my card today I have used the elements - Gelatos, masking and stamping.... for the CAS Mix Up May challenge. I die cut a circle mask and blended two Gelato colours, then stamped my outline image in black over the top. To finish I stamped on my sentiment, added a few matching sequins and mounted my front panel to a pink card. Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day

Hello.....
I've been playing around with my couple of Gelatos sticks that have sat in a drawer unused for quite some time but thankfully for this months CAS Mix Up challenge they're out and smudging colour everywhere. I've made a couple of easy cards.... simply blended two colours on a scrap of white card and used my 'hello' die. I collected those little bits from the loops and after stamping on the rest of my sentiment, positioned them in a flourish with a mini black gem. To finish I layered the front panel on a matching card frame, onto a white card.
I used Gelatos, stamping and die cuts as my elements. Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day...

Merry Christmas
My Christmas card today is inspired by Kimberley's card (below) over at Muse: Christmas Vision #99 - I've used her mono brown tones on cream card, her layout and the Santa image. Over the years I've found this favourite old Santa stamp is best inked with a brayer to capture the fine lines so I used Adirondack dye ink in mushroom, then framed the image in darker brown onto a background panel in light brown and a cream card. To finish I stamped the sentiment on a cream card strip in brown ink. Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day

You brighten everyone's day..
For this ATC I have used a swirl stamp, inked and embossed in gold EP. Then I've sprinkled on Brushos and spritzed with water - I moved some of the powder around with a wet brush and dabbed off the water before the colours got 'muddy'. When it was dry I cleaned up the golcud embossed areas and then stamped my sentiment in gold too on blue card, fussy cut it and then thought it looked lost so I framed it with white fussy cut card. To finish I mounted it on the blue card. I am posting to Happy Little Stampers ATC May challenge - Gold theme. Thanks for visiting and enjoy your weekend
