Today my bright cheery card has combine three elements of the Tic Tac Toe - Distress Inks, Watercolour and Die cuts from challenge #16 for this months The Flower Challenge #21- Use a Previous challenge.  Also with lots of flowers and a bicycle for challenge #94 at The Card Concept - Inspiration on Wheels.
I stamped and watercoloured my image and then layered it with two shades of purple on a white card.  Then I added a die cut floral corner and some extra scattered flower and lastly my stamped sentiment.  I am also playing along with Watercooler Wednesday WWC173 - Tenia's Feminine "Anything Goes" challenge and Simon Says Monday challenge - All Things Bright and Beautiful.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your weekend.

Simon Says: All Things Bright And Beautiful

Congrats

I have cased lots of elements of Anita's card for the Muse Card challenge #269 this week.... the colour palette, die cuts, layout - her card is so fresh and cheerful.  I used Gelatos to blend my blue ombre background, choosing to have the darker shade against the white die cut landscape. Then I added some die cut foliage and die cut my sentiment in white and yellow for a layered effect... to finish I added a few bright yellow die cut butterflies.  I am also playing along with Simon Says Wednesday challenge - Anniversary/Wedding, and Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies challenge.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day

It's Your Birthday...

A fun male card today... my 'bloke' is a stamped image that's been in my stash for sooooo long, I thought he'd be just right for the 'gardening' theme at The Male Room challenge #86.  I used Distress Oxides to colour him then fussy cut him out.  I used three different DO inks to stamp the 'grass' border then sponged on so clouds with a stencil.  I printed the first part of the sentiment and then finished off with stamping the rest.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day

Big hugs

Big celebrations at Stamplorations as it is their 5th Birthday... wooohooo Congrats to Sheri and the team.
I was inspired to make this card by Vicki with her Birthday Wishes card (below) on day one ... to use my fab new dies... I cut my die in black and used a bright painted panel (from my experiment stash) to highlight it and then added my large die cut sentiment.  Thanks for visiting and join in the celebration

Joy

My Christmas card stash is growing slowly and today I have one inspired by Pam for Muse: Christmas Vision challenge #101.  I am casing her layout, gold, a dove, Joy sentiment, and that gorgeous circle of soft color - all of her card really.  I cut my circle from a shaving cream panel and edged in in gold... I liked the purple in it so decided to layer it on a purple panel.  Then I stamped my dove and embossed in gold and to finish used a die cut sentiment in gold card.  I am also playing along at Christmas Crafts All Year 'Round - June challenge 'Non Traditional' and Happy Little Stampers Christmas June challenge - optional twist 'Joy'.

The World is your Oyster

I've been busy with my blue/green water colour backgrounds  this one made by blotting up the leftover Twinkling H2Os on my plastic sheet  I love the shimmer .... today I have teamed my ocean/sea background with an oyster clam stamped with Versamark and embossed with pearl gold. I watercoloured the shell with Distress Inks, fussy cut it and added some pearl white paint to the pearl.  Then to finish I stamped my sentiment.  I am playing along with CAS Watercolour - Ocean theme, Addicted to CAS challenge #137 - Sea theme, Addicted to Stamps and More - Clean and Simple challenge #294 and Simon Says Wednesday challenge - Anything Goes.

Sending a Smile your way

I recently stamped this image twice (as I often do) and as it was sitting on my desk decided to colour it with something different for a change.... Faber Castell Soft Pastels... as my first day of colouring for Kathy's Daily Marker 30 Day Colouring challenge..   Then of course I had to finish it as a card
So cut out the image and used a watercolour panel as a background -- created with Brushos and lots of water.  Then I stamped my sentiment in Gold EP - didn't work so I over stamped it and used White EP, so you can see it didn't line up exactly and I have a shadow.  To finish I mounted to a white card and added so bling - with sequins and gems.
I am also playing along with Double 'D' challenge - Bling It Up and Happy Little Stampers Watercolour June challenge - Anything Goes with optional twist: SMILE.
Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day

CAS Watercolour June challenge

Hello there from the wintery tropics of Australia (nippy 16 this morning) and have to say I am very honoured to be Guest Designer for the June CAS Watercolor challenge,
a very big thank you to Loll for asking me to share my cards
with this months theme - OCEAN.

I love to see what one single word can conjure up in each of our minds and you can never tell what stamp might have gone unnoticed in your stash, and be the inspiration for what evolves.

My cards do evolve ... for Ocean I didn't have a clue where to start, figuring I didn't have any supporting stamps - no whales, or ships or so I thought. So I started first to play around with a background and Ocean meant colors of Blues and Greens and after many attempts with different inks I settled on my Twinkling H2Os - a simple water wash and they give a lovely shimmer when they dry.

I delved way into my stamp stash and came up with my 'message in a bottle' stamp which I stamped and embossed on acetate, then coloured on the back and fussy cut it - so I have my bottle bobbing about in the big wide ocean. To finish I chose a 'Just a Note' stamp as my sentiment thinking it very appropriate for this card.

Can't wait to see what everyone creates - I'm sure we'll be surprised, so pop on over to the CAS Watercolour blog and be inspired by the DT girls. Thanks so much for visiting and enjoy your day

Birthday Wishes

Of course my card had to include a waterlily when casing this weeks Sweet Gupta's lovely card over at Muse challenge #268.  I stamped my image with DI in Antique Linen to achieve a no line effect when I watercolured with Distress Oxides, then fussy cut it out.  I die cut a wavy border on a background created with DO and backed the cut out with shimmer light gold metallic paper, leavinga a fine border along the top edge too, then attached this to a white card before stamping on my sentiment. I chose to use a pink card as it helps frame and lift the image.  I have used elements... waterlily, layout, gold, watercoloured image as inspiration.  I am also playing along with Watercooler Wednesday challenge WWC172 - Anything Goes, and Seize the Birthday - Anything Goes challenge.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day
