A new month already and some more monthly challenges to be inspired.... my first one is for a left handed person - lol, no really I finished it all off before I realized I'd attached it all to the wrong side...so I'll cut it off and trim it to fit another card base.
I'm playing along with the
July CAS Watercolour challenge - 'Splash Watercolouring'. I created my background strip with Distress Inks - using a loaded paint brush to flick colour blobs of Abandoned Coral, Fossilized Amber and Twisted Citron onto a plastic sheet and then laying the white card onto this- the bigger blobs spread and joined up but there are lots of small splashes of colour.
Then I stamped my poppy image, watercoloured it with DI and fussy cut it out. To finish I added a matching card strip and used foam tape to add depth. Finally stamped my sentiment on a die cut stitched oval.

I am also playing along with
Watercooler Wednesday WWC177 - Charlotte's Feminine "Anything Goes" challenge. Thanks for visiting and enjoy your week
