Have a Great Day...
This year I have really stepped it up making masculine birthday cards which is cool because they seem to be a lot less involved... Today I have used one of my recently made Twinkling H2O water wash backgrounds and added a stamped dragonfly, then attached my fish - stamped on gloss card and coloured with H2Os - he looks all shiny just like a fish would jumping out of the water. To finish I added a couple of die cut reeds and a stamped sentiment on a strip. I am playing along with Challenge #89 at The Male Room - Fish and also at Watercooler Wednesday WWC178 - Crystal's "All About Occasions" challenge and also the Muse card challenge #274 - inspired by Tracey's card - my elements are waterwash background, "fins"
Thanks for visiting and enjoy your weekend

With Best Wishes
Today I've cased Anita's lovely Muse #273 card.... using elements- colours, masked strip, black stamped image and sentiment on the strip with a few scattered dots.
I used Distress Oxides blended with a baby wipe and then stamped on my image and sentiment. Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day

Best Wishes
Here I am with my second card today..... for The Card Concept #9 challenge...inspirational photo Golden Table. I love the colours in the photo and the gold... so I did some masking and stamped my image along the bottom of my card and used Distress Oxides to watercolour them. Then I mixed some of my gold powders together with water to achieve a glitter gold wash background to the flowers...had trouble photographing this card. I added a bit more gold with a frame and die cut sentiment and arranged these on a cream card. I think my style is Classy and Elegant.
Happy Birthday
A new month already and some more monthly challenges to be inspired.... my first one is for a left handed person - lol, no really I finished it all off before I realized I'd attached it all to the wrong side...so I'll cut it off and trim it to fit another card base.
I'm playing along with the July CAS Watercolour challenge - 'Splash Watercolouring'. I created my background strip with Distress Inks - using a loaded paint brush to flick colour blobs of Abandoned Coral, Fossilized Amber and Twisted Citron onto a plastic sheet and then laying the white card onto this- the bigger blobs spread and joined up but there are lots of small splashes of colour. Then I stamped my poppy image, watercoloured it with DI and fussy cut it out. To finish I added a matching card strip and used foam tape to add depth. Finally stamped my sentiment on a die cut stitched oval.

Peace on Earth
A while since I made a Christmas card.... this morning I have cased Lindsey's card at Muse: Christmas Visions 103 (below). Her lovely CAS card really caught my eye and the modern twist on the trees - cased elements... layout, snowy landscape and starry night sky, use of DP for trees, 'peace'. My background is made with sponged Distress Oxides and stamped and silver embossed stars. Then I die cut my 'hills' and found some Designer Paper with gold highlights, cut into long triangles - I inked over the 'trees' slightly in green DI. Then as I have silver on gold on my card, I used silver and gold embossing powder on my sentiment on the bottom of my frame.

With Love
My stamped heart image is from my very old stash and the card turned out to be ok to watercolour (a relief) - I used a combination of Distress Inks and Oxides to colour it, then I fussy cut it out. I stamped my sentiment in pink and clear embossed it and cut the ends like a label. I found this pink stripe embossed card in my 'old' stash too and decided to go with it instead of white card and to add interest die cut a frame using two nesting dies. I am playing along at Muse challenge #272 casing Steffi's card (below) - elements : a heart, pink, die cut edge, stripes, sentiment within the heart. And also joining in at AAA Cards CAS Game #118 - Use a frame. Thanks for visiting and enjoy your weekend.
