What's On Your Workdesk, Wednesday?

It's WOYWW time  (number #284), where Julia hosts an event where many crafters share pics of their work areas, if you'd like to know more -visit her blog to read all about it.

..in my opinion! My first pic today shows my main work space - I'm just trying to decide on the final bits to the card on my pad (see the third pic).  The area is a bit tidy but the second pic shows you all the mess is off to the side. Lots to put away. I had to use the flash today as I have the venetian blinds nearly down as the sun is pouring in and its hot and I've the overhead fan blasting away. Louie bear is still keeping track of my eraser and the pile of 'oh I might have a go at that' on the very right.
Here you can see a pile of stamps needing cleaning and putting away.  A new card there from friend Vikki came in the mail today along with our first Christmas card...dear elderly reles in Scotland are always a month ahead but at least we know she thinking of us.  Water jars needing emptying, a new tin of distress markers I picked up really cheap.....they're in neat piles at least. Cheers and thanks for taking a peek, I'm off to check out a few desk. Big thanks to those who visited and left lovely comments last week....Robyn

Australian War Memorial, as we remember those who gave everything for their countries, Lest We Forget...the wall lists all those Aussie who lost theirs lives and red poppies from loved ones who have visited.

  4. Hi Robyn,
Luckily it's not quite so hot down here (yet), because I've got blower heaters on (in the kitchen) trying to dry out water damage from a leaking dishwasher! Friday is supposed to be VERY hot :(
    Thanks for dropping by,

  6. Your desk must be a very cherry place to work with all those bright colours. Are the blue and purple books art journals? They look lovely and full.

  8. Those poppies are amazing, and very moving, Robyn. I can't imagine needing the fan on just now - our CH is on (low, she adds quickly!) all day now, for Mum. Your desk looks like a great place to work and play. Your first Christmas card? Yikes, I'd better get my skates on. Happy WOYWW, Chris # 7

  10. That poppy wall is beautiful and so poignant...just like the poppies around the Tower of London, to which the response has been amazing.

  16. Even with the blinds down I can feel the sunshine on your desk, everything has that warmth about it, I know it's not butch, how lovely! Sweet of your scots rellys, I expect they post early for Christmas to avoid the scare of last post dates...remember when the post went by sea!!

  22. I am loving seeing the poppies on various blogs. Looking at your posts this week (I am late doing my returns) I see you have been making some fabulous Christmas cards recently and I misread one of your posts as I thought you saw a gliding cat on the beach!! I think I may need to stop reading blogs on my very small netbook screen!
Thanks for visiting my desk already
