Wishing you a Warm & Wonderful Christmas

End of the month and half way through this year....   and I have a Christmas card to share for two challenges

Having fun using more of my pre-stamped images...  this cute House Mouse image stamped in black and clear embossed   and also from the stash a stamped sentiment.
Watercoloured the image with Distress Inks, trimmed the panel and added a red border layer.  Happy then to use some more of the huge patterned paper stash for the background and attached all the elements to a white card.

Thanks for stopping by my blog,   have a wonderful day,   cheers Robyn

A quick and simple card ....
  • Using another stamped image (Altenew - Precious Peony) from my stash, stamped with Versafine smokey grey ink and water coloured with Distress Inks
  • Die cut the large sentiment from yellow card.. CUTplorations... using parts of two sets, then smooched wild honey DI to break the colour

Hoping Your Day Goes Swimmingly

A MALE card today for the theme at Let's Squash It!!..  challenge #21

  • Used a leafy embossing folder from Couture Creations - Ambrosia.. and embossed white card
  • Smooched blues and greens Distress Oxide inks on my work mat, lightly spritzed with water and laid the embossed panel over the ink, pressed lightly with my hand and did this till I achieved ink coverage to the raised pattern
  • Used coloured pencils to colour two fish from my stash (unknown) that were once stamped in black ink and heat embossed with gold EP, fussy cut them out
  • Attached some thin strips of green card to the side  and trimmed the panel to fit a white card
  • Stamped sentiment from Sheena Douglass Sea View Collection, with Versamark and used Sizzix Fir Tree embossing powder, on a strip of vellum... you couldn't see it on the background then so I added a strip of white card behind and attached it and the fish with foam tape
