Still needing a few more Christmas cards...

.... and November is just around the corner...

.... reminder to self that this year cards will need to be sent even earlier with our postal system seemingly going even slower.

My snowman is hand painted with Distress Inks and the trimmed panel added to a maroon card with the sentiment stamped vertically.

My second card is DI blended through a stencil (Kaisercraft - Poinsettia) and finished off with a die cut sentiment in shiny gold card attached to a red card strip.

I am joining in the challenge at Rudolph Days October challenge..

...  have a Wonderful weekend,  Cheers Robyn

October card making...

Well after visitors had returned home my head seems to be in another space, and I'm waiting to feel life is back to normal...  but I did manage to finish a few cards in my UFO pile.

These two evolved after I die cut a few of these Sizzix Daisies from the Wildflower Stems #1 set.   Just watercoloured them and mounted the purple ones on pretty patterned paper and stamped and gold embossed the sentiment.  The pink one was attached to an embossed white card with lightly smooched Distress Oxide ink and a silver embossed sentiment.

Next three cards came about because a friend in a card swap sent me the die cut flowers.  Blue one was just attached to a stamped sentiment.  For the Aqua (center) one I used a white embossed panel and two layered die cut sentiment.  And the last was attached to a background piece using the Faded Water Stenciling technique and a simple stamped sentiment.

Of course I haven't been idle with my crochet hook either....

Here is my latest project ... Flight of Fancy by Polly Plum... 6 weeks done and I have all those ends sewn in and waiting now for the pattern for the border.

Thanks for stopping by my blog... have a Wonderful day,  cheers Robyn

September Card Chain Challenge Reveal

My card for the September CCC was sent off to Jill in USA ....  I used the colour palette, fancy fold technique - my version of a Gate Fold, and friendship

Watercoloured my stamped Power Poppy - Countryside Bouquet and edged the panel with orange card.  Then 'gate folded' a white card and attached textured blue card to the front panels and positioned the floral front and attached to the right hand side... finished with a stamped die cut HELLO.

Thanks for stopping by my blog... not much happening with my blog posting of late... busy with visitors but have a few unfinished cards on my desk.    Enjoy your day,  Cheers Robyn
