Where does the time go or am I just distracted by other things !!!

A week behind but never mind...

I did at least start this card last week with

Darnell's IDEAS weekly prompt in mind  -

 week 2  - "D" = Dies

With Mothers' Day coming up in early May I have made a card for my mum, so now I'm sure to get in in the post so it will be delivered on time.  The lovely die sets you can get these days make it easy to put a 3D card together.

Next I've a couple of Christmas cards to share

This one is inspired by this months challenge at Christmas Kickstart #109 - Brimming with Style

So this cute stamped silver embossed image suits really well with their furry white trimmed Santa hats,  added a sparkly die cut sentiment to finish.

Walking in a Vintage Wonderland is the theme at Jingles Belles challenge

so I've watercoloured this silver embossed Vintage Feel stocking

Thanks for stopping by my blog
have a wonderful day
cheers Robyn

I've been crocheting some simple baby blankets to donate to our preemie ward at the hospital

Some Birds for Christmas...

Happy Easter to you all...

I forgot how much I enjoy the peace of watercolouring.... I so enjoyed that today, using my Distress Inks to watercolour this Christmas tree full of birds for the Walking in a Whimsical Wonderland challenge over at Jingles Belles challenge

and this card fits with the Triple B April challenge ... to include birds, butterflies or blooms on your card.

and Week 1 of Darnell's IDEAS prompt is "I" = Ink

Joining with challenge #85 at NBUS ... this die has been patiently waiting to be used and teamed up with some lovely patterned paper  -  you know that pile you've hardly looked at for ages

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog
I do hope you had an enjoyable Easter
Cheers Robyn

Sunflowers...

Sunflowers are a favourite of our daughter and it was her birthday this weekend so of course I made her a Sunflower Birthday card.

Simply inked up my stamp with mini Distress Ink cubes, very lightly spritzed with water and stamped it randomly around my card face. Then to keep it bright and happy - mounted it on yellow card with a green border and finished with a die cut sentiment.

I made another card with a lovely sunflower stencil
AND it is also STENCIL week at

Thanks for stopping by my blog... have a wonderful day
Cheers Robyn

Keeping the Sunflower theme... this is a crochet blanket I made for our daughter a couple years ago
