Love from all of us

Not much time to create a card for Power Poppy's Creative Confetti - Use your Monogram with only a day till the end of the month....but the mind thinking last night and I managed this card today.
My name is Robyn Oliver - so letters R and O to inspire me, but as I don't have a second name I thought maybe I could come up with some for each letter in my christian name -

R - Red .... I couldn't resist using a Robin Red-breast as my image
O - Oval .... die cut an oval in my DP. Die cut my bird and with the die in place sponged on grey ink
B - Bird .... stamped my 'Robin' and coloured with pencils
Y - Yarn .... tied a length of red feather yarn around my finished card
N - pine Needles .... on my background DP
Used foam tape to attach my DP and fitted my oval bird into the space and then to finish stamped my sentiment on a card strip and attached with more foam tape.

Christmas Bells

With Silver Bells being the challenge over at City Crafter challenges Week 435 -- I decided to make a quick card.  Die cut my bells with glittery silver card and attached some shiny green holly and a lovely bright red bow.  Then from my DP stash I found this sentiment background paper in grey with silver print... just the thing. Used a long horizontal card in white and as quick as that it was made.  I am also joining in again at ABC Christmas challenge - 'V' - very quick.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day.

Where flowers bloom, so does Hope

Stripes and Dots is the theme at Double 'D' challenges... I selected some stripy DP for my background and a length of dotty ribbon as my elements and simply stamped this sentiment image and used pencils to colour it.  Then to finish added a darker purple layer and made up a flower with two shades of purple and a button.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day.

Wishing you a Wonderful Birthday

The photo below of a flowering Bromeliad in my garden at present, is the inspiration for the colours I've used for my card.  The flowering spike is about 4 feet tall and the gorgeous purples teamed with the peachy colours of the stem is an unusual combination. I stamped my floral image in Distress Ink and used Distress Oxides to water colour, finishing off with a pale peach background.  I cut the panel to suit a peach coloured card and stamped and silver embossed my sentiment.  I am playing along with Power Poppy Creative Confetti challenge - Art imitating Life. And as I have used a Stamploration stamp In Bloom; Dog roses and as joining in with their Never Ending Anything Goes challenge.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day

Thanks tag

A mixed media tag from me for a change.... I started by smooching my card in a Distress Ink pool - Spun Sugar, Antique Linen, then using the stencil I sponged on Abandoned Coral, and Ripe Persimmon and in the center I used gold Gelato.  I die cut my panel with the stitiched tag die and sponged the edges with Brushed Corduroy and splattered on some black ink. Then I die cut my sentiment twice..one from the leftover from the tag cut and one in black.  I used Brushed Corduroy to colour the top layer and when dry glued them in place.  To finish my tag I added some threads in autumn colours and a wooden leaf embellishment.
I am playing along with three Stamploration challenges - Mixed Media - Anything Goes, TAGplorations - All About Fall and Cutplorations - Fall colours.  Also as I have used the ARTplorations stencil Peony No2, I am posting to Stamplorations Never Ending Anything Goes Challenge.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your weekend

Happy Birthday

A few quiet moments this morning to post my card before we head off to the grand daughters birthday party - two in one, 3 days apart and two very excited little girls - 5 and 3.
For the image panel on this card I used markers direct to the stamp, then a little 'huff' before stamping onto cream card... I also restamped the tall tulip and fussy cut it out.  I used a stitched rectangle die to cut the panel and layered it onto a red card.  I cut another front panel and sponged the edges in the colours of the flowers and tied a ribbon bow around the bottom and attached it to a cream card.  To finish I attached my single tulip, stamped a small sentiment and added a some sparkly bling.
I am playing along with Just Add Ink #432 - I chose Bows and Bling and also at Seize the Birthday - Anything Goes.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your weekend.

Merry Christmas

A very quick Christmas card from me today to help get my mojo working and to join in the challenge at ABC Christmas - 'U' and 'V' .  Also playing along at Watercooler Wednesday WWC193 - Tristan's "All About Holidays" challenge and Rudolph Days October challenge - Anything Goes.
I die cut my sentiment in metallic red card, then chose a page from one of my Christmas DP pads and cut it in half... so I ended up with a longer horizontal card.  Found some brown card to match for my card base and a strip of green because it was too light across the bottom and assembled it all with a few gens to finish.... now to make another card with the DP cut off.
Thanks for visiting and enjoy your weekend.

ps  here's my second card using the bottom off cut from the DP

Merry Christmas

Some lovely DP paper to co-ordinate with the sparkly aqua die cut sentiment.  I'm using the layout at CAS(E) this Sketch #CTS 294 challenge.  To finish I added a mini stamped sentiment and a punched silver star with a gem to tie in with the stars in the DP.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day

Happy Birthday

I used the sketch at Just Add Ink #431 for my layout on this card and kept it Clean and Simple for the Addicted to Stamps and More #314 challenge.  I stamped my bear in brown ink and used Distress Oxides to water colour her, then fussy cut the image.  I used an inked embossing folder to create my horizontal strip and some peachy pink paper for the accents.  To finish I stamped my sentiment on a strip and used foam tape to mount it and the bear to the card.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day.

Best Wishes

From my pre-stamped stash I found these gum leaves and gum nuts..which I water coloured with Distress Oxides and then fussy cut it out.  As it was a small image I die cut some gum leaves in white card to mount behind the image.  To finish the card I stamped on my sentiment.  I am playing along with Addicted to CAS #14 - Foliage.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your weekend.

Hello Friend

Blue, Green and Purple are the colours for week #463 at Just Us Girls... and I have used grey and white as my neutral colours.  I stamped the image in black on grey card and used Distress Oxides to colour the image...two tones of green and purple and then a smidge of blue in the background.  I added some white gel spots and to finish a stamped sentiment.  I layered the panel on white and purple on a white card to enhance the colours on the grey.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your weekend.
