Merry Christmas Tag

Everyone can do with a little extra LOVIN'

Created the background of my tag with a stencil inked with Versamark and used a brayer to help transfer the ink to white card, then heat embossed with white EP.... next sponged over with Old Paper DI, buffed the ink from the white when dry and trimmed to a tag shape.  Stamped the holly with grey ink and used Distress Inks to watercolour and then rough fussy cut.  Stamped the sentiment in red and clear embossed and rough fussy cut this too.  Arranged the holly and sentiment on the tag with foam tape and added some ribbon to the top, then attached to a white card..

Sew Happy For You Tag

As I was making this tag, memories came back of me as a child sewing buttons on scraps of fabric... mum was a dressmaker and had a lovely old tin full of buttons - what a treat search through to contents and along side the loose buttons were old fashioned button cards - so beautiful....so I fashioned my tag for the Tag You're It #96 challenge on this.  Found some gorgeous DP for the background and some matching blue buttons in different sizes and stitched these on... then stamped on the sentiment and attached some blue cord through the fancy die cut tag top.

Christmas Wishes Tag

Time for making a couple of tags, my second one for Christmas... playing along with Jingle Belles Rock challenge - Tag, You're It.  I used a smooched and stenciled background from my stash - the blues and purples has silvery dots all over.  Then I strip of matching washi tape to ground my die cut Christmas tree, decorated with purple and silver gems.  To finish I stamped and silver embossed my sentiment and tied on some silver cord.  Thanks for visiting I really appreciate it - happy tag making.

Live Laugh Love Tag

Initially I thought I didn't have a flamingo in my stamp stash, but was happy to find this one in a tropical set in a magazine freebie - it also included my coconut cocktail - stamped these, coloured with pencils and fussy cut. I die cut the top of the base tag with part of a label die and founds some bright PP for the background.  Finished off with a stamped sentiment and twine.  I am playing along with TAG, You're It challenge #94 - Summer Splash.  Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it - happy tag making.

Merry Christmas Tag

A Christmas Tag from me this morning.... inspired by the pic at Tag You're It! Challenge #92 - Christmas in July....didn't this month creep up on us rather fast this year or is it just because I'm getting a little older - I really did think a few years back that time would slow down for you as your aged  - NOPE!!!
So a bit of stamping on coloured card - basket, pine cones, spruce, and some die cut foliage mixed in with some Christmasy ribbon and red gems - a bit of fiddling while watching a show --- and my tag came together in no time - some DP for the background and two strips cut from the edges of DP. Decided to use a light green tag for back and finished off with a bow on top.
Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it - happy Tag making.

Party!!! Tag

A 'spinner' tag from me today for the TAG You're It!! challenge #90 - Interactive tags.  Resurrected this 'Party Girl'  from my stash, coloured her up with some glittery gel pens and used some smooched background to die cut a stitched tag, then the ovals from the center - backed the spinner oval with glittery silver card so she will sparkle when she dances.  Attached all the elements to make the spinner tag and finished off with ribbons and a stamped sentiment.  Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it - happy tag making

Relax Tag

A fine Friday here and I'm back as Guest Designer with another tag and a reminder that you have until June 21st to join in the fun at
......pop on over to the blog and check out the fab tags from the DT.

For this tag... I thought about how fun it is to have a little umbrella propped up in your favourite mixed drink.... I'm quite partial to a Pina Colada... so kick back and relax and enjoy!
I stamped my pineapple on dark yellow card in orange and green ink and heat embossed with clear EP and fussy it out, and repeated with green for the pineapple leaves.  I found some colourful DP and cut a half circle and pleated it up like an umbrella and attached it to a skewer and topped with a bead. I couldn't find a popper straw so had to cut a larger one down, then used foam tape to attach all my elements to the tag and colourful spotty background... to finish I added my stamped sentiment and a bunch of green ribbons.
Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it, and thanks to the TAG You're It team for inviting me to be their Guest Designer this challenge.... happy tag making

Spring Sunshine Tag

This fine Friday I am very happy to be
Guest Designer at TAG You're ...it!
....Thank you so much Tracey for asking me to join in

With this fabulous colourful inspirational photo
full of shady umbrellas,
I decided it was Spring, not gloomy Winter
and have looked also at the colours to influence my tag.

I discovered I did have an umbrella stamp and dug into my designer papers for some colourful designs to do some paper piecing. I stamped, embossed and fussy cut the tops of the brollies.  Then I re-stamped the image on matching card for the underneath side, fussy cut them and glued them together. Next I stamped the handles and silver embossed them, fussy cut and coloured them with silver gel pen.  I cut a tag shape from white leather grain card and sponged it with blue green ink and for my sentiment I die cut 'spring' from the white card and used the negative strip. To finish stamped the rest of the sentiment on scarp of inked card and tied on some cord.

Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it, happy tag making
and hope you can pop over to TAG You're It and join in the fun

Get Well Tag

A lovely bowl of spring flowers for my tag today.....and Challenge #88 at TAG you're it!
First I die cut my tag from a smooched background on glossy card. I stamped my bouquet of flowers a number of times, used watercolour pencils to colour them and then fussy cut them out.  I die cut my bowl twice and glued them together to give dimension and arranged all the flowers in place on the tag.  To finish I tied on some fancy threads and a mini stamped tag.  Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it, happy stamping..

Just for You .. Tag

A fun little tag for the TAG you're It!! challenge #87 - Spring Colours.  Loved the colours of the inspirational photo and ran with the whole composition... the colours, the bird, the leafy florals and the patterned edge.  I recently acquired the bird stamp and die set as a freebie with a magazine.  Then I used a mix of small stamps to create the foliage and lightly stamped the geometric edge.  To finish I added a stitched die cut frame, stamped sentiment and some matching frilly yarn.  Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it... happy stamping

Mum, With Love - Tag

Well it's Mothers' Day tomorrow - here in Australia, so I've made a pretty tag for the occasion.  I used a stitched die cut card from my stash and a ARTplorations Rose Garden stencil - sponged Versamark over the stencil and with it still in place used a dry baby wipe and Soft Pastels to colour the images.  I made my own tag base using part of a die to cut a fancy top, then using dies cut the word MUM from the rose panel so the soft pink of the tag would show through.  To finish I stamped the sentiment and used pearl gold EP on vellum and attached it with glue so it sat loosely on the panel, then tied on some ribbons.  I am playing along with Watercooler Wednesday WWC220 - Kath's All About Occasions" challenge - Mothers' Day.  Also joining in with Stamplorations TAGplorations May challenge - All About Mum and Stamplorations Never Ending Anything Goes challenge.  Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it - happy stenciling.

Die cut a tag and attached the layers and stamped my sentiment on a mini tag and tied on all my ribbons.  I am playing along with TAG you're it!  challenge #85 - Happy Easter, and TAGplorations April challenge - All About Recycling.  Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it, Happy Easter
