Four Seasons May challenge - Spring

An easy card to make from a set which included the embossing folder and dies to make this lovely Tulip design... finished off with a sentiment from my stash and a small bow and a few gems

 

Two die cut cards.

It's 'Dies' this week at both Just Add Ink #785 - just add dies-stencils for both, 

and also week 2 for Darnells IDEAS prompt -'D' = Dies... so I've two cards to share...  Dies do make it easy to make a card.

This one is pretty self explanatory... A large die plate cut in white card and backed with some more of my recycled calendar pages - and a gold circle that just happened to be on my desk, so finished off with matching gold die cut sentiment.

For this card I have used a floral die - die cut in purple and green card then die cut on the front flap of a small square card -  and then inlaid the flowers and trimmed the front to follow the die cut line.

While I'm waiting for inspiration for my next big project, I've made this cute rabbit and four crocheted cuddlies to donate to maternity ward of our local hospital.

Two Floral Cards

The Technique for this month at Group of Cardmakers is  --  Split Card Designs

I used a large floral stamp and aligned the two card fronts snuggly together and stamped in grey ink.  Then with each of the I realigned the stamp on the other edge and stamped again, then watercoloured the images with Distress Inks. Finished off with stamped embossed sentiments and attached to a card with matching card to frame the images.

It is also week 1 of Darnells Weekly IDEAS prompt  - "I" = Ink  ...   with my mojo being spasmodic it'll a real inspiration to have IDEAS to fall back on and get me motivated.

AND

Double 'D' have Watercolours as their challenge theme so I am joining them too

A few quick and easy cards ...

 

... WOW... it's the start of a new month here in Australia, but luckily USA is a day behind so I do have time to join in with Darnell and her inspiring Weekly IDEAS prompt...  so this last week it is 'A' = Anything Goes

The first two card are made using lovely floral card from last years desk calendars...  I do collect calendars with nice pictures so I can re-use them... and with these two I've just covered over the month name with a stamped and embossed sentiment.

And these two Christmas cards were super easy to make.... die cut and embossed the ornament from holographic card and then found some Christmas patterned papers with the sentiment already on it and there you go all done.
