Just Add Ink challenge 785  - Dies-Stencils or both

An easy card to make from a set which included the embossing folder and dies to make this lovely Tulip design... finished off with a sentiment from my stash and a small bow and a few gems

Some Fun Watercolouring

I saw this technique on Pinterest and figured why not try this with an outline stamp.... so I smooched Distress Oxide inks on my worksheet and inked my stamp from this and used a wet brush to pull the colours from the outline... I love how it turned out... bit similar to last months technique at Group of Seven Cardmakers using a Speedball Elegant Writer.
And it's the first Monday of the month so with Darnell's IDEAS prompt it's time for some INK/Colour Medium.

I used the colours for the Just Add Ink challenge #704- and randomly stamped the image on white card then finished off with a stamped sentiment.

I had so much fun I made a second card and added some turquoise ink.  I think these are very summery colours so I'm joining in the challenge at Four Season - Anything Goes Summer

Thanks for stopping by my blog..
have a wonderful day

A couple of Thinking of You cards

Today I have a couple of Spring Cards ....

I am playing along with Double 'D' challenge - Monochromatic

and also with Four Seasons challenge -May Spring challenge

First card is using stamps and dies from Altenew Modern Anemone set...  stamped with black Versafine and watercoloured with Distress Oxides
For the background panel I blended DO in Ripe Persimmon, then attached the flowers over a diecut corner piece (Sizzix Mixed Media #2).
To finish I stamped and embossed the sentiment (Practical Publishing - Meadow Flowers set)

For my second card I used the Blossom Sprays #5 from STAMPlorations - stamped in smokey grey Versafine and watercoloured with Distress Inks - squeezed lemonade, mustard seed and bundled sage.  I added some depth with coloured pencils
Added a die cut sentiment (Sizzix - Celebration Words Script) cut from yellow card.
To finish attached to a card with yellow border and a scatter of white Nuvo Crystal Drops

If you know me, you know I just love Flowers and making floral cards.... so ...

With these cards I am joining in with the SPRING challenge at Four Seasons challenge

Stamped this image Blossom Sprays #2 from STAMPlorations, with Versamark and silver embossed, also the sentiment from Happy Little Stampers: Dandelion Wishes set, then watercoloured with Distress Inks.  Trimmed the panel and attached to white card with foam sheet.  I am also joining in the STAMPlorations Never Ending - Anything Goes challenge

For a change I stamped this image from STAMPlorations In Bloom: Darling Dog Roses, with Versamark and Gold embossed, then watercoloured with Distress Inks.  Stamped the sentiment and gold embossed too - from Cardmaking & Papercraft - All Seasons Wreath set.  Trimmed the panel and layered with matching orange border on a white card.   I am also joining in the STAMPlorations Never Ending - Anything Goes challenge

Stamped this Morning Glory image from Chocolate Baroque with Verafine smokey grey and watercoloured with Distress Inks.  Die cut the panel with Stitched die from CUTplorations and mounted to a white card with dark purple border.

A little bit of masking with this card using Altnew Christmas Rose set, silver embossed and watercoloured with Distress Inks, sentiment from Close to my Heart: Joyful birthday occasions, stamped with Versamark and silver embossed. Also added some dots to the flower centres with embossing pen and silver embossed these too.  Layered the panel with an aqua border onto a light blue card

This image is from Power Poppy: Everything's even Rosier set - stamped with Versafine smokey grey and watercoloured with Distress Inks.  Stamped sentiment from Cardmaking & Papercraft: All Seasons Wreath set, and embossed with silver.  Layered the front panel with lemon border and attached to a dark aqua card.   I am also playing along with Double 'D' challenge - Something with a Handle.
