...continuing on from where does the time go!!

...well since my last post was a week late for Darnell's IDEAS, I was determined to make some "E"= Embossing cards on time...  and as you can see it didn't work out... my mornings got distracted in the garden; the weather is prefect for a little/big tidy up.   But I have had some fun with this Christmas ornament 3D embossing folder....and why make one when you can make four!!

For my first effort I really messed up the 'right' side of the panel and this is the back.... which worked out pretty cool...  I brayed darkish blue Distress Oxide ink over light blue card, spritzed it with gold spray and finished with a die cut sentiment and a few (long unused) gems

I basically repeated the process
this is my last card which turned out to be a repeat of the messing up the right side.

And now two cards that show the raised embossing brayed with colour.

Tried to capture a pic of the shimmer gold

Thanks for stopping by my blog and have a wonderful weekend
Cheers Robyn

We live in the sub-tropics and so most of the garden is various shade and shapes of green, so it is wonderful to see a pop of red when the bromeliads are in flower, and I plant impatients too...........

  1. This is a beautiful embossing folder, Robyn. Love it in all the diffrent colours. Even prettier with the shimmer and shine of some metallics inks. Your garden is gorgeous and lush. xx

  2. It looks like you live in Paradise, Robyn! All that lush green is beautiful and I can see that it takes a bit of tending! Your Christmas card design x4 is incredibly elegant and I love all the different colors with all the gold schparkle! I struggle to see any messing up. They all look perfect to me! I'm so glad the I.D.E.A.S. calendar is helpful! Hugs, Darnell
