67 WOYWW Desker posts - I've just checked back as see I joined this craze end of June 2013....and this is what I wrote.....
Just been checking out a fellow Aussie's blog and see she shares on
What's On Your Work-desk? Wednesday and even though it's Friday I'd like to share my space and visit others that post their special place and to realise you're not the only one the disappearing fairies visit - you know when you're just had that item in your hand and now you can't find it - anywhere!! and the little piles of creations you've started and are still "waiting" and the tools, stamps, inks.......that haven't returned just yet to their "home". My desk isn't too bad today as I've just finished "posting" a new card. Anyway off now to check out some other WOYWW players.
Thanks for taking peek here
Seems I've changed house but not much else has changed, I still have piles of creations waiting for inspiration to complete. One thing I've learned in this time is keeping my desk at least a bit tidy does help with the fairies and my mojo.
Off now to make a cuppa and WOYWWer some desks. Cheers and enjoy your week.
Robyn
I can't find my first WOYWW post but it's a long time ago... and I'm still buying new stuff, lol!! Hope you enjoy your day. Helen #5
ReplyDeleteTo be honest I was amazed that my first WOYWW post was as late as it was - I seem to have been a club member for longer than I have
ReplyDeleteExciting isn;t it and so heartwarming that we have all reached out and joined the big circle of friendship that is Julia.
Hugs, Neet 10 xx
happy WOYWW

I did the same my first WOYWW - I think I added it on the Thursday, maybe even for a couple of weeks, and then settled in. Up until this year and my internet woes I have been taking part every week since. Such a lovely community. Cant wait for the next crop :)
ReplyDeleteHave a Happy WOYWW day!

Your desk is looking very organised - I love the gold honeycomb on red, what a gorgous combination, and I also love those two little birds holding the cards - especially the little one with the plumes coming out of his head -how sweet! Happy WOYWW,
ReplyDeleteDiana #40
That's a good idea, posting your first post as a reminder. It's been fun having you along for the ride. Here's to the next 300!!

Hi I'm trying to visit everyone on this special WOYWW. Can't remember when I joined in first time. Anne x #38
ReplyDeleteClever idea Robin, to repost your first WOYWW post. I'm not sure if I can find mine.
ReplyDeleteThe friendships that have been born from this weekly event is really something, Julia should be a proud Mama!
Happy 3-0-0
I know that I go back and delete stuff from my blog all the time I checked Julia' s blog ages ago and realized how long I've been joining in time flies for sure. That card your making us so pretty with that rosette on it happy woyww 300 hugs Nikki #1
ReplyDeleteI think I read Julia's blog for a year off and on before I actually made a post for WOYWW... fun stuff going on in your space. ( I am so klutzy though the water near the laptop is so brave to me Robyn.) ~Stacy #65
ReplyDeleteSome wonderful sunshine coming in that window and I love the colors you're working with.
ReplyDeleteHappy woyww and happy creating,
Sandy #34
What fun--that makes me want to check back, because I really don't remember when I joined in. I think it was a least a couple of years ago. Happy WOYWW #300! Sandy Leigh #58
ReplyDeleteI am relatively new to WOYWW in comparison. I think maybe 10 posts...but it sure is addicting! I love all the positive and supportive friends I meet from all over the world. Your desk has some pretty cards on it and always lovely to see:) Shel - paperocotillostudio #25
ReplyDeleteLovely little card! I'm brand new (this is my 3rd week) to WOYWW but I am enjoying it immensely. Happy Wednesday!

Hello Robyn. Thanks for already visiting. I'm not sure quite when my first WOYWW was - but it must have been 2011 or 12 I think. I certainly took part in the 2013 photo scavenger hunt - and I\ had been blogging for sometime by then.... Amazing to think we have these friends all over the globe - so precious.
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

Hello there Robyn. I'm enjoying my afternoon coffee as I stroll through everyone's desk. This is such a great idea. I started recently and love it. Great to see you.
ReplyDeleteHappy 300 WOYWW.

I have just realised that it is almost a year since I started deskhopping. I joined in with woyww in April 2014 so not long to go. Hope you have a great crafty week and happy woyww, Angela x 42
ReplyDeleteYour desk IS looking very clean there, Robyn! I'm with you on how much it helps me create and not waste time looking all over for something that is invariably right smack in front of my face!! Happy 300th WOYWW!! Thank you for visiting me! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteClean and organized. Nice that we had a chance to meet over WOYWW last year. And I like your attitude about keeping things neat. Happy 300th WOYWW from #3.
ReplyDeleteHi ya Robyn.
ReplyDeleteHappy 300th. Glad you get so much from posting as I do.Nice bunch of women aren't they?

Thanks for visiting me yesterday.
ReplyDeleteI will now have to go back to see what I wrote on my first time joining in.....I've been at it since near the start but like you I doubt I've changed much apart from the new space I'm creating in. :-)
Hugs,

How fab that you found your first post! And to translate that famous french saying....the more things change, the more they stay the same. Think that applies here. Am always happy at your desk Robyn..the daylight is such a soft colour and so welcoming! Love the card you've got within reach today, so pretty!
ReplyDeleteA lovely light spot for your desk.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog.

Hello, Robyn. Thanks for your visit. I've looked at some of your work --- your cards are amazing! I was particularly taken with the birdcage card -- just beautiful! Have a wonderful crafty week. :)
ReplyDeleteNann#54
It's amazing how quickly time flies, and its good to reminisce too. Your workspace looks very warm and inviting. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteHi Robyn,
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting and your kind comment.
Im at the airport (Malaga) trying to do as many visits as I can in 30 min free wifi. But the connection is very slow and your photo hasnt loaded. Ill have a look at it tomorrow.
Have a great week,
Lisca#28
Psits snowing apparently where we're going!
I agree with tidyness helping out with the fairies and mojo. It's a favourite moment, when something is at last done and posted, and the desk can be emptied (for a moment, not more!)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit earlier, happy woyww!

Nice busy industrious desk, Robyn. I haven't counted how many WOYWW posts I've done but I expect it's quite a lot now! I wasn't in from the beginning but so glad I joined in the fun when I did, and I've made so many wonderful friends through it, some of whom I have had the privilege to meet in person.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit and your very kind words. Shaz and I are pardners in crime and she has been such a wonderful help and support to me, and it was brilliant when she and her hubby came to see us! I'm glad you approve of my following Shaz's lead and keeping an online diary of my experiences - it has certainly helped me, and, I hope, others too. Congratulations on your 15 years' breast cancer survival! My best friend from school is another one - she's still clear after several years. Such strides have been made in recent years and cancer is no longer the death sentence that it was. They reckon my surgery should be curative but I may need some chemo afterwards to make sure.
Happy belated 300th,
Shoshi #45
Well that is one neat and tidy desk, good to see you are part of the party and yes you have changed houses but not desks. We all experience the missing items, I blame my house it constantly steels things and only returns them when it is good and ready. I am liking the look of that just because card, very nice. Thanks for visiting already, sorry I am getting around late life is not kind to me at the moment.
ReplyDeleteHugs Eliza & Yoda
Happy 300th WOYWW
Happy 300th WOYWW! Thanks for stopping by! I had to look way back to Feb. 22, 2013 for my first WOYWW post! I didn't even label it as such back then, oh my! Guess I better so I can find it again! LOL! Happy Belated WOYWW!
ReplyDeleteCarol N #52
I have the same problem with the fairies hiding my things. I can put a brush down and then it just disappears, then spend ages looking for it. You don't think it's all the mess we play in do you? Nah, couldn't be (he he).
ReplyDeleteHappy 300th and let's hope we all get to play together for many more.
Have a great week,
Von #32
Hi Robyn
ReplyDeleteHow time flies eh! I joined quite early on .... I forget so I must check it out.... Again. I really wish I could visit everyone in person..... Wouldn't that be a holiday of a lifetime lol..
Your desk always looks very organised .... Even when it's messy
