'Tis the Season to be Jolly
My second Christmas card today and I'm also playing along with another new challenge - 'Tis the Season TTS#44 - Santa's Snowy Night. Lucky for me I have this cool Santa and moon stamp and also a bunch of trees. I didn't want to use straight black ink for the stamping so for the trees I did green and over inked them with black - result a dark green; also for the Santa I inked in navy blue and over inked in black. Then there was a lot of sponging distress ink for the night sky and subtle inking for the snow backs and finally a stamped and embossed sentiment. I added some white gel pen to the up-side of the snowy branches. Thanks for taking a peek

beautiful winter scene, (but I am happy that christmas is far away ;-) )
ReplyDeleteI think you knocked the ball out of the park! Your card is clearly inspired by the photo. The snow on the trees with white gel pen? Genius! The moon/Santa stamp is adorbs! Great forest of trees... great job!
ReplyDeleteGreat Christmas card, Robyn! Love all the sponging you did and the scene you created. Thanks for sharing with us at 'Tis the Season.
