Happy Birthday

I've made a male birthday card today as it's our SIL's birthday today.
Male colours are not one of my I've had a play around with some unusual burnt gold and cinnamon and create this Bokeh effect - I really like the photo Mandy shared here and tried to create something like that...(I must say here that the photo is not true and the card is really a lot softer in colour, much more muted) I used a silvery pearl card base and masked off a section at the bottom and inked the edge and then die cut Happy Birthday in twice and layered them to give a background highlight.
This month House of Cards challenge is to use the Bokeh technique.
Thanks for taking a peek

  1. This is SO fabulous, Robyn!!! I LOVE the great colors, the fabulous layout, and the shadowed sentiment! Thanks for joining us at Great Impressions! HUGS! :) Mynn xx

  2. Hi Robyn! I think you did a great job making this card masculine. I have trouble sometimes with those too--girly is just so much easier--LOL

Thank you for taking the time to comment, all encouragement and inspiration is very welcome. May your day be a happy and extra special one, cheers Robyn
