Hi and how is it in your corner of the world today - all good here and I'm a bit later with my post for WOYWW#267 as hubby has just come home and I haven't even thought about dinner...oh well, I've been busy making his father a 90th birthday card, you can see the beginning of it on my desk pad and it's still not finished so I'll have to remember to show you next week.
Next to my desk on the left is my printer with the card tree on it. Then on the left is my tray of ink cubes, a bunch of birthday stamps in front, I'm trying to decide which ones to use on the card. Next little pile is the sparkly decorations to go in the card, that's a rough up of it in the middle because I changed the dimensions. My laptop over there near the window with a folder of stamps. Underneath is my glue and sticky bits drawer open because I've just cleaned it out this minute (when I took the pic this morning) as it had become a dumping spots for allsorts...why do you do that...got an important card to finish and I'm tidying things. Pic below just a close up.
Now I want to share with you my mini album I decided to make for my WOYWW ATCs. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, still have to finish the insides....thank you Hettie for the idea.
Please pop over to Julias blog to read all the guff about sharing your desk on WOYWW...it's addictive and I love it, now I'd better go and make dinner but I'll be back to do some desk hopping later. Cheers and hope you had a fab week and were able to do some crafting.
Thank you to all my visitors last week Robyn
Wow, I love your ATC folder - what a fab idea, and I really like the flower on the front of it. It's so hard to know how to store things sometimes - I have a load of index cards I'm doing for the ICAD challenge at the moment and although some will get glued into sketch books the rest will end up in an old suitcase in the loft! Your book is a really neat storage system - and it looks like you can store bulky ATC's too.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week,

Beautiful workspace! And that ATC-book is great. Have a great week and happy WOYWW, Evelyn # 54
ReplyDeleteGreat ATC folder and clever idea to put them all together as a project. Looks like you have a great space to create cards with everything at your fingertips.
ReplyDeleteSandra @53
Now that is the perfect excuse for not making a start on dinner....making a card for HIS dad!! I like your style :-)
ReplyDeleteActually, I like your ATC album too, so pretty and practical for keeping them nicely. That Hettie's brimful of great ideas :-)
Hugs, LLJ 15 xx
The ATC journal is a great idea.
ReplyDeleteYou can make something like that as thick or thin as you like depending on the ATCs you intend to store, great!
Thanks for stopping by at mine and pleased you like my new distressing tool.
Have a great week and happy crafting, Angela x #42
Looking good Robyn - I know why DO we start tidying when there are more interesting things to do? I think it's because we are really still mulling an idea over in our heads... or that's my excuse anyway. I am torn between making an ATC album for the WOYWW swaps (love yours) or using ATC holders like Mary Anne did. Would certainly be quicker and easier.... anyhoo, at thisrate it'll never get done, they have been sitting on my (untidy) desk for 6 weeks already. Thanks for the visit earlier! Hugs. Cindy x
ReplyDeleteI always know where I am when I see my favorite little your little yellow and turquoise sticky bits drawers. :) Love your ATC album! YOu are inspiring me to do same! Thanks for your earlier visit to my place. #34
ReplyDeleteI love the little journal, Robyn. Well done. What a great way to store all those lovely gifts you received from everyone. Hope the card comes together - and that you managed to find something for dinner....really frustrating having to stop crafting for other things, isn't it?!
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

You desk is looking nice and inspiring. Great job with the ATC album I can see why you're pleased with it. Such a lovely way to keep them rather than leaving them lying around.
ReplyDeleteyou mentioned on my blog last week that you'd used tea bags in the past to cut flowers from. Do you have any pics?
