Happy Friday Smiles dear friends, from the east coast of Australia. The top pic is where we were last Friday, so I didn't get to share.... Off for a four day break, oh how lovely that was - it was so relaxing I didn't need to smile. The caravan park was a few kilometers out of Agnes Waters/Town of 1770
(an historical story behind that name) and in a magical bush setting...that's our van behind the tree. Waking up to the sounds of the bush bird, and each afternoon as the sun went down with a glass or two we gathered to enjoying the company of a few nearby campers and to share our stories.
The camp owners loaned them this fabulous wood burner, and there was plenty of felled timber to burn....I love a camp fire and looking into the flames.
The last afternoon more folk joined us, I made scones and later we moved the TV out so we could all watch the grand final of the rugby league.
I feel relaxed now just thinking about it....do hope you've had a wonderful week...why not join in at
Annie's blog and share. Cheers
Robyn

ReplyDeleteHi Robyn,
ReplyDeleteI have so many fond memories of camping as a child. I can see why you were totally relaxed and having a good time with friends, both new and old.
I also get mesmerized by watching a fire.
