Merry Christmas grungey!!

Where to start....this is my second Christmas card for the year - so my mojo is lacking in creativity. So I did start with checking out my embossing folders as the designer paper stash didn't come up with anything. I found this border folder and though I'd brayer red distress ink over it and run it through the Cuttlebug...yep I brayered it to the raised section but that only inks the imbossed area and the writing is back to front.  Now as the brayer was still inky I turned over the strip and coloured the now raised writing...and of course the ink went off the lettering and all over the card edges...I think it looks grungey!!  I trimmed it and layered the band onto white and red card  and it looked a bit bare so I found the star garland and a tiny ornament stamp and stamped it across the top, added some pearly bling and a touch of silvery gel pen to the stars......wellllaaa a Christmas card for Merry Monday #163 - Red and White challenge
Thanks for taking a peek
