Week 329 at WOYWW.... unsure what this phenomena is about please pop over to our hostess Julia's blog to read all about it - we simply love to show off our crafty messes and go visit other desks for some love and inspiration.
Here's my desk early this morning - have been finding it tricky to find some time in the craftavan lately and as I'm an early riser and felt the creative juices to finish making my patchwork "quilt" cards for our ABC tag/card project, I was down there with my cuppa in a flash with the sun just rising and the birds chirping. I quite enjoy making these cards using up those many scraps I hoard and definitely needed the Ott-Lite.
My finished card fronts... do need a sentiment for the left one but that will wait till I'm ready to use it.
Thanks for dropping by, I'm off now to check out some desks....enjoy your week
I bet you get a lot done in those early few hours! I'm not an early riser myself, but am always amazed how much more I can pack into those couple of hours before the rest of the house stirs! Smart cards by the way :-)

What a great way to use up all those little bits Robyn....I love the finished result. I'm an early riser too....don't you just love the quiet time to really appreciate nature at it's best at that time of day?

Lovely patchwork cards. A great way to use up all the scraps we inevitably end up with. It was a 5am start for me, which means my chores (other than cooking dinner) are done and I have the rest of the day to myself.

Love your patchwork quilt cards Robyn, I am afraid I am not anywhere near as good as you at marrying pieces of paper up. I sit and spend hours jus looking and end up with nothing. These are great.
ReplyDeleteHow long now before you move?

Very cool cards Robyn...."quilt"....I would never have thought of that but I'm certainly not surprised that you did!
ReplyDeleteYour collage-cards look beautiful! Isn't it great to be an early riser and see the sun come up while sipping coffee and making art? I love that too! Happy woyww and a big hug from the Netherlands, Marit #47
ReplyDeleteOh what a good idea! Patchwork cards! I have a whole box of little bits as I never throw anything away. I might copy your idea. The cards look really beautiful as you have combined the colours so well.

What would all of do without our Ottlites? I laugh seeing you spread out on such a small table in your craftvan. Amazing the work you get done. Those patchwork quilt cards are beautiful! .
