Sending Birthday Wishes

Here this morning with a card using 'snippets' from my stash.... the gold embossed cat image is ancient but he is soooo cute I think  - the gold embossing has held up well, I wasn't sure about the quality of white card it was stamped on - it definitely wasn't watercolour card but the watercolouring with Distress Inks worked ok, then I fussy cut him out.  The label background square is a freebie from a magazine and I stamped on the sentiment, cut a thin metallic red layer to match the bow tie and layered onto a fawn square on a white square card.

I am playing along with Pixie's Snippets Playground challenge #372.

  1. I love your feline snippet. It's made a nice card.

I've had to switch to the Treehouse to share the contents of my satchel as Miss Di searched the back of the bike sheds and confiscated it all. Come up to the treehouse later and join the party! xxx

    1. Silly Billy Sarn - I've just cleared the tree house as well! Thanks for the tip off :) x

  3. What a lovely card Robyn! As you say, such a cute image and I love the shimmer and sparkle! Watch out for Sarn - she used to play really regularly and was Little Miss Mischief. We've spent time together in person on a few occasions and she's someone I count as a very dear friend. All due to blogging in the first place!

  4. He's adorable!! What a great card from your snippets!

Thank you for taking the time to comment, all encouragement and inspiration is very welcome. May your day be a happy and extra special one, cheers Robyn
