Our Beautiful World

Good afternoon and welcome to this week #79 at Our Beautiful World.
Manuela has offered "WINTERY" as this weeks inspiration.
Now that is not an easy thing for me to photograph when I have lived in a tropical climate for the past 22 years. I had to looked hard to find these two photos which I took during our holiday in Scotland 2010.
This pic was taken one morning of the feathery ice on the car windscreen when the temp was 3.6C.
And here - what a lovely serene pic of a light layer of snow on the fallen branches.
Our 'rainy' season isn't cold but we get some incredible storms. My son took this panoramic photo of the storm following Cyclone Yasi in 2011

Please visit the other team members to see their gorgeous photos for this week. And if you have any photos you'd like to share - please join in and post to Our Beautiful World blog.

  3. Gorgeous photographs! You are lucky that you live where it's warm, it's zero F here this morning. I see lots of beautiful card designs at your blog. Thanks for stopping in at my blog, it's appreciated, Shirleyx

  4. I always take photos of the frost when it is like that. Would make a great quilting pattern!
Scary photo of the storm. I saw some like that when I went to Vietnam. Unlike British weather the rain was over pretty quickly.
    Hugs
    xx
