Christmas, retro sketches, colourQ, Our Creative Corner

Happy Friday friends, and here's another Christmas card to add to my growing pile (40+ now). I used retro sketches rs#13 for my layout and the ColourQ #139 colour combination to make this card. I think it might also just creep into the Shabby Chic theme for the Our Creative Corner challenge - I'm not so good at shabby chic but really do like the effects and admire many cards made by others. Thanks for taking a peek

  1. Hello Robyn
Your foray into Shabby-Chic is a wonderful one, and I do think you should explore this genre more, you have the style and the right idea to be really good at it.
The layering, pearls, ribbon/bow soft colours, lace and your lovely subtle palette are all the necessary requirements. It is hard for anyone to make a card 'Shabby' after making it look so clean and crisp, and I guess one could ask, 'why would you want too'???? This is a lovely card, thank you so very much for joining us this week at Our Creative Corner, we are just thrilled to see your work.
    Smiles:)
