Thanks for the Inspiration...

Feels like my mojo is awakening a little bit, as I've made 12 cards so far this month and it helps to check our challenges to inspire one, and to put down ones crochet hook for a bit.

It's E = Embossing week at Darnell's IDEAS prompt... so I've made a card using both dry and wet embossing...

And looking out at the challenges I'm joining in with

Just Add Ink challenge #742 - inspired by the photo

and

Just Us Girls - Word Week #766 - Green

and

Neglected Stuff March challenge

I chose this embossing folder with a close pattern so when I applied the embossing ink it would stick mostly to the raised areas, then heat embossed with some long forgotten Leaf Green EP (gosh the container is still nearly full - it's a wonder it still worked).  Finished with a stamped and watercoloured hibiscus and some die cut foliage.

And a special birthday card for our daughter who's jetting off tomorrow for a holiday to celebrate her 40th... so we get to be babysitters for the two grand daughters.
well it's my version of a double floating frame

Thanks for stopping by my blog, have a wonderful day, Cheers Robyn

  2. Your beautiful embossed design is so striking, Robyn! I love it and put it in my to-CASE file! I also love your take on the Go7 floating frames technique with the really gorgeous sunflowers! Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS and for linking your design to this week's I.D.E.A.S. Calendar! Hugs, Darnell
