I love this technique and haven't had my chalks (soft pastels) out for ages, so I just had to make a card
...well actually I made two
My first blue card is also for The Paper Players challenge and I've chose the top line across:
Birds, Blue and Birthday.
I used the Versamark ink and chalk to do the bird cage, the sentiment and the bird - he wasn't facing the right way so I stamped him on the Mirror Block and then on the card, he came out less defined but still cute.
On my second card with the flower I chalked the card and then stamped the swirls and chalked them in two shades.
Two very nice cards Robyn...I especially like the second one...soft and pretty!
ReplyDeleteLovely card, Robyn. I especially like your color choices on the first and how you've repeated the swirl design in each element. Thank you for sharing with us at The Paper Players!
ReplyDeleteLovely blue bird card---such pretty elements and a nice sentiment! Thanks so much for playing my TTT challenge this week!
ReplyDeleteBoth of your cards are beautiful Robyn! You have completely inspired me to dig out my chalks, too. I just love the soft effect. Thanks so much for joining us this week at the Paper Players! :)
ReplyDeleteI like the elegant feel of these, Robyn. The embossing is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit...I really appreciate it!
