What's on my workdesk, Wednesday #240

"Crickey" where does the week go....already Wednesday again so I can take a pic of my desk to share on Julias blog, If you'd like to know more click on her name - these a bucket load of creative people out there sharing their workspaces.

Today mine is pretty neat but as you can see I've a few project piles on the left - does anyone else do that - start on a card and while searching for elements and ideas end up collecting bit for other cards. On left of my laptop are a few backgrounds I made by distress inking an embossing folder, spritzing the card and running it through the machine...I was impressed and one of them is part of a card pile. And the second pic shows the result of my friend Vikki stating how often we see other card makers desk/rooms that are all so organised with their bits colour co-ordinated etc......so I had hubby accompany me to the St Vinnies store and there was this shelf unit just waiting for me. So I've turned it sideways and spent a little time Saturday sorting my flowers and ribbons into containers - yippee, now their close at hand ready for me to use  :-)
Then there's a pic of our friendly magpie...this morning she was looking all bedraggled (was quite funny, looked like a drowned rat) as we've been having some rain, well a lot of rain, it rained all night and the last pic is out my craft room window - it's duller than that really; but the dead grass has come alive overnight and looking quite a bit greener - it's been so hot here but I can't complain because we see on the news how bad the weather is in the USA and UK. Well enough waffling, hope you're having a 'cool' day wherever you are
and thanks for taking a peek   Robyn

  1. Hi Robyn! Your desk is looking quite organized. Yes, most of us actually have all our bits barely contained, as more just keeps creeping in! And I usually have 3-4 projects in different stages. In August 2013, I cleaned up my entire stamping area and took pictures for WOYWW. Clean tables, and work areas. That was it. It's been a creative mess ever since then.
Your jars of ribbons and flowers are awesome and it looks like the shelf was a great addition! Enjoy the neatness :).

  11. Very nice picture of your desk! Especially love looking at the new organizations! Pictures of the outside are nice. Yesterday here in Oklahoma it was 72 deg F and today in the 40's. Now last week we were freezing our butts off in the teens! No wonder so many people are sick. I am staying in unless I have to get out and about! Thanks for dropping by my blog and leaving a comment. I hope you are having a fun week! Vicie #104
