What's on your workdesk, Wednesday #243???

....yes what's on your workdesk, this week  - WOYWW#243
Mine is not busy at all as I've just returned home this afternoon from 10 days visiting with my kids and grand daughter, and also catching up with my skyping Saturdays friend Vikki.
Right there in the middle are three new sets of stamps just waiting for me to try out. On the left the green papers are ready for making a card just need to find a layout challenge - the small piece is a background I created myself. And the pink and blue card bits are from my first effort with the Gelli pad...I think I have a lot to learn and experiment with....my paints are pretty old. Can't wait to get a good nights rest and get into it as soon as the washing load is on.
If you're wondering what I'm rattling on like this for please check out Julias blog - where a you see listed many like minded crafters sharing what they're up to.  Thanks for visiting comments last week now I'm off to check out other crafter bloggers desk, Cheers Robyn

  1. Hi Robyn. I love that cute little desk fan! Your desk looks like it is waiting for you to get creative. I hope you get that good nights sleep to recharge your creative batteries. It's nice to visit but it is nice to get home….even if you do have laundry! ;-) WOYWW Hugs from Helen 74 x

  4. Visiting with family and enjoying your granddaughter tops crafting everytime, but I see that you are itching to get back to it! Have fun with your new stamps!

  7. Hi there Robyn, just seeing the word 'Queensland' on your blog has brought memories of when I holidayed there many, many years ago. I wonder if it is still as unspoilt as I remember it? Anyhow thank you so much for your visit, yes, there are always projects to finish aren't there? Well done with the gelli plate - a good thing about it is you can't really do it wrong, and you can get in a right old mess while you are trying!! Have you checked out MaryAnne's blog? She is an ace gelli plater and actually uses lots of the finished backgrounds in her many, many projects. Hope you've had a good day, I'm just winding down with a glass of vino as I got in so very late tonight!

  8. Hello Robyn. What a lovely desk. By now - it's Thursday evening here in Wales - I expect the laundry is done, dry and back in the drawers, and those lovely new sentiment sets are open and well used. Have a great week.
