What's On Your Workdesk, Wednesday?

Happy Wednesday everyone.....I'm playing along again with Julia and many other crafty beings who love to snoop about and spy what's going on at desks all over the world at What's On Your Workdesk, Wednesday #249 (click here to go to Julias blog to read what this is all about....Fun really.
This is my desk today, not too mess but I have had a fab week trying out different techniques. Here you can see my empty morning coffee mug next to my distress inks which are out of their box because I've been making background cards...see my plastic sheet on the right with dry ink still on it - I'm wondering if I re-mist this if it'll still work, think so. Anyway I'm nearly finished the card in the middle (it's posted here now), the ribbon bag is out and the stamps and inks I've used. And on the left is another card I'm working on - just still playing with lace, string, ribbon, flowers to tie it all together. Here in Yeppoon it's a lovely autumn day, lots of breeze for the washing, hope it's at least comfortable where you are.  Thanks to those who dropped by last week and now I'll go browse a few desks and hopefully leave a few more comments.  Cheers and thanks for taking a peek Robyn

  7. DIs stay water reactive for a long time so you might achieve a nice watercolour effect if you mist the dry ink. Why not try it and let us see? I love experimenting and love seeing other do it for me :D

    Happy WOYWW!

  22. Hi Robyn,

I bet you are right -- mist up that blot of dried ink and you'll have something to play with!

I went over to check out the finished card and it's beautiful. Have a wonderful, crafty weekend!

  24. Nice desk and you are very prolific with all the cards you've made! I love all flowers too those violets of mine did something odd, almost all of them turned white, not the flower the leaves. Then one by one they just started to languish. I've have violets for years and never seen that happen. Thanks for visiting!
