What's On Your Workdesk, Wednesday?

Lovely to see Julia back at her desk for this weeks WOYWW #263, if you're visiting and wondering what this is all about please pop over to Julias blog and read all about it and maybe join in the desk snooping fun.

My desk today is much the same, not too many pre-thinking about cards in my pile on the very left under my 'green scraps' drawer. In the middle you will see that I am working on three Christmas cards for the Festive Fridays photo inspiration on my laptop as I see a snow sledge theme and have cut up my vintage 12x12s to make some more cards with very little stamping on them....can't resist using this great designer cardstock. Also a Santa face card...all waiting to be glued together.
I have a card propped in the blue drawer from a very dear stamping friend, next to that a card I've made to send to the Card Chain Challenge recipent.
..in my opinion!Otherwise here in Queensland it is winter and we have been having some cooool evenings and mornings 10-12C (mid 50sF), the days are lovely and sunny, blue skies but fresh breezes - and I have my warm clothes on and slippers..
Thanks to everyone who visited last week, much appreciated and now I'm off the desk hop some before I get dinner for myself... :-( hubby's away all week.
Thanks for taking a peek Robyn

  2. I am going to draw a veil over the whole "Christmas" part and instead tell you that I go to my local framer and get the off-cuts he throws away for free. Try a different framer if you are paying for them! You've reminded me it's been ages since I stopped in on him and my supply is getting low.

    Happy WOYWW!

  5. Great desk, Robyn. Like the Christmas cards - haven't done much that way myself, yet - but must start thinking soon. After all, it IS the longest day here on Saturday - so all downhill after then!!
    Take care.

  7. Well done working on your christmas cards so soon! I suppose in Australia it would feel right doing them in your slippers and warm clothes! Mind you it snowed here yesterday ( we live in the mountains of Utah) quite shocking after having a couple of weeks in the 80s! Still, the sun if back out now!
    have a great week, Debxx

  19. Very dedicated, Robyn, making Christmas cards in the summer! I suppose it gets them out of the way before the rush starts.

Thanks for your lovely comment - we are having a great holiday despite my feeling ill for most of it but today was a bit better at least. Thank you for your nice comment about my knitting, too. Glad you like it!

  21. Hi Robyn, I am finally making it around to joining in the blog desk hop. Your desk looks very cozy and welcoming for crafting. How is the garden and lawn progressing, you need to update the photos, yes I am interested, there is so much work already gone into creating that beautiful haven.

Happy crafting and gardening and yes I love my slippers too.
