Hello and I sure do hope it's as lovely in your part of the world as it is here today....the sky is blue, the sun is shining and it's a gorgeous 23F. It's Wednesday so that means I'm sharing a photo of my desk this morning with WOYWW#269 - along with about 100 others who join in the fun - If you'd like to know more pop over to hostess Julias blog to read all about it. On my desk you can see a busy mess as I'm in the process of creating my tag for Tim Holtz 2014 tags....it's a seahorse theme and you can see the finished card here....Distress inks on the left and a bag of sand, micro beads with the peg - both of which I used to make the sand mixture in that little pot with the popsicle stick stirrer and the emb powders nearby. You can see my shells, seaweeds, tag and seahorse on my work pad ready to be all put together.. Hope you've been able to craft this week at your desk, I did what I promised myself last week and got my tax papers sorted so nothing to keep me from do what I like best....making cards. Cheers and now I'm off to snoop a few desk, thanks to everyone who visited last week Robyn
PS...look what just arrived in the mail...

Thanks for sharing your desk. I love you vast collection of ink pads.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your win. What a lovely giveaway.Happy WOYWW
Your seahorse card is stunning..did you mix some sand into the embossing powder then? That would trap it a bit...if you can stop it blowing everywhere whilst heating. Whatever, it looks really realistic!
ReplyDelete23 degrees, huh? We've had days like that here and I agree, they're wonderful...anything above that here and we consider it a midsummer heatwave!

What a stunning prize, Robyn. The tag is coming along really well - took a sneaky peek at the finished item - it's great! Well done.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting. I am going to be really mean and NOT read out your comment to John about how organised I must be - he would simply laugh out loud! I'm not really organised - well, I don't think I am - but I do try to help folk when and where I can - even when it means my own things get left til last!!!
Take care. God bless.
