My card today is for
the Mixed Media Card Challenge - September 2014....and my first time posting with this group....thought I might like to join in and challenge myself using more medium than I do usually. So I created the background panel by first embossing it with a Textile emb folder, then I ran it through again without the folder to flatten it. Next I inked my plastic sheet with Distress Inks and sprayed the card with a fair bit of water and dumped it onto the ink (I didn't press too hard so some of the slightly raised embossed area took the ink more than the background. I used the same Distress Inks on a leaf stamp and randomly stamped the images. I stamped one of white card and cut it out. Then I die cut an oval for the sentiment and mounted it on another shape and finished off with a bow of string and a few beads and metal leaf. Thanks for taking a peek
