WOYWW Week 285 - these Wednesday creep around fast - and if you'd like to know more about this craze pop over to Julias blog, read all about it and join in - it's addictive.
So here is my desk this morning...as hubby is away again!! I get to craft heaps and today the mojo was flowing - I made three and a half cards. The easel calendar card next to my laptop, the maroon framed card and one that came together out of the blue with bits from my 'might try that' pile....all posted now if you're interested to look. I have the pieces of a white on white Christmas card on the go but keep changing my ideas, as you do. On the very left nearly falling off the desk is my external DVD player - I have joined the local library and got a few audio books to listen to while I work. Scattered around my desk is the makings and tools used on these recent cards and a small pile and stamps that need cleaning and putting away. And in the center on my bird card holder is an olive green card from my friend Vikki in Tasmania. At the moment that I am typing this post it has started to rain - thunder and lightening storm - much needed and refreshing, but the thunder's is a bit close, Hope it's pleasant weatherwise where you live. Thanks for taking a peek and to those who leave comments...I'm off now to visit a few desks, cheers Robyn
Such the busy crafter Robyn! I love taking a peek at your desk each week....glad to see you got my card.
ReplyDeleteSuch a busy desk - I love the white Christmas cards, especially the way you've embossed the swirl around the deer and tree - beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week, and thank you so much stopping by my desk earlier.

Love the white on white cards, Robyn. So stylish! Also I'm intrigued by the wire rack thing on the right - that looks really useful and fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit and your lovely comment. The soap making is terrific fun and so easy - can't wait to do layering and embedding etc. Next class is tonight. The lavender oil smells truly fabulous, and so nice to know that all it is is pure grapeseed oil and real lavender flowers! Can't get more natural than that. It will be so nice to make some soap with it, and I intend giving some to my neighbour who supplied the flowers, together with a little bottle of the oil, and a card to match!
Happy WOYWW,

Everytime I see your desk Robyn I just look straight at the drawers, I love them. Some good crafting going on :)

ReplyDeleteWas nice this morning Robyn but it has gone off a bit now. Hope your thunder storm has stopped.
ReplyDeleteGreat card making - it would take me all day to do three cards I am sure.

ReplyDeleteI'm sitting down for while for the first time today having just got home from my day with the twinnie munchkins.....so what better to do than catch up with as many blogs as I can? :-)
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you're making the best of your 'home alone' time. Have a great week.

Glad you've had a crafty busy day! love the look of the cards. Helen 4
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good time crafting. I like white on white cards - elegant. Weather has been quite wet and I've been cold at times - not helping the arthritis!! Happy WOYWW Anne x #34
ReplyDeleteI love your cards, especially that delicate Christmas tree one.
ReplyDeleteThat was quite a storm last night wasn't it. We got heaps of rain, at last.
Have a great week,

You had a very successful day - don't you just love it when stuff comes together! I love the partial embossing that you're using, very classy. I'm not good at white on white, so will be watching your results closely. Hope the storm left you some cool air for a while!
ReplyDeleteLovely desk with beautiful cards and the white on white one with the tree is a delight, would love to give that idea a go and see what it turned out like! Thanks for visiting earlier, Annette #11

ReplyDeleteHi Robyn, I'm late getting around to all this week's WOYWW'ers but I still have several days til the next one comes so I'm hopping like a mad (crazy that is) bunny! I love all the little storage containers you have on your desk. Organizing my crafting space is an ever going project it seems. Don't you just love it when the mojo flows?!:D
