What's On Your Workdesk, Wednesday?

..in my opinion! Week 301.....at Julias, Stamping Ground for What's On Your Workdesk, Wednesday.   Want to know what all this is about just pop over to her blog and read and then join in this craze.....you'll become addicted. And you can make friends and visit desks that inspire.
Today my desk is showing that I've been busy playing with some texture paste coloured with distress inks and then using a die cut leaf image as the stencil.
You can also see two lovely cards I received today on my birdie holders, they both arrived with some lovely extras...thanks you ladies (Vikki and Becca). Center in front I have a floral card I stamped and painted and is waiting for the final stick together - see here.  And one of my trays of inks is off the shelf as I am searching for the right shade of green. Also my glass of water - I'm trying desperately to lose some weight and drink lots more.
Off to make a cuppa now, that glass is empty and it's time to think about dinner. I'll be there to check out as many desks as I can and a big thank you to everyone for their visits and comments last week. Have a wonderful week Cheers Robyn

  4. Great to see so much going on on your desk, Robyn. Isn't it funny, no matter how many inkpads we have, we have never got exactly the right one, lol. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz xxx

  5. Lots of lovely interest on your desk. Oh I too continue with the battle against the weight. It's so hard. This year I have two weddings, my sisters 40th Anniversary and my son and D.I.L.'s joint 40th birthday party amongst other things to look forward - I so want to look more presentable!!!! It's hard. 8. I have been neglecting all my blog buddies recently so I am making a big effort to visit a few more this week. I found having gall stones stopped me eating fatty foods and I lost 2 stone but I wouldn't recommend it as a weight loss plan!! x Jo

  10. Hello Robyn. Don't those memento inks look lovely all in that box - such a great mix of colours. The cards received look really attractive - a lovely gift to receive.
All the best with the diet...
Thanks for visiting already. I'm still not sure about those Easter ideas, but I have to admit others seem to like them. John is beginning to feel a little better. I'm really hoping he will be well enough to come to the show with us next week. It's such a great fun day out - end the icing on the cake will be an almost complete total eclipse of the sun as we are driving down there! Wow!!
    Take care. God bless.

  13. If you want to lose weight the off is still open for the artistic lipo (he he). I love using the coloured texture paste too, except I use paint to colour mine. I'll have to try some stencils as yours looks great.
    Have a great week,

  14. I was surprised to see no ice cubes in your water... ( its how I tolerate it best very very cold) because, this body lives on Coffee and so, I try to mix in more water into my life) I love that you have all your bitty pads that way to see them all at once. ( it is making me re think mine) ( you can tell I like to organize as much as I stamp right? haha. ~Stacy #79

  19. Ah Robyn, I've been on a diet too and the drinking more thing is really a hard habit to cultivate! I drink less than half of the plan's ideal and have never felt the lack of it! Good luck indeed. You did get a couple of lovely cards I must say, isn't it nice to have them where they make you smile and inspire. Glad to see you looking for the right shade of green...bet mother nature never has this problem!

  21. Water is good for ya! Lots of it! I fill 4 small water bottles, put them in the fridge and make myself drink them through the day. Needless to say I'm also on a diet (as most people seem to be). I've just spent a week in Italy with pastas, pizzas and wine!! Oh dear! Gotta start all over again I think....
Thank you for visiting earlier in the week and for your kind comment.
Sorry I'm so late with this but the house we were staying in in Italy didn't have internet. My son does but we were not able to go to his house as the village was/probably still is completely snowed in. Wednesday morning I went to a coffee bar that had wifi and posted my little contribution. (Yes, those lovely capuccinos also contributed to my weight gain)
I'm now back home and catching up on stuff, downloading photos and keeping the washing machine going.
    Have a great week,
    Lisca

  22. ooh, look forward to seeing what you make with the texture paste (love using it).
As many of the others have also said, I think SO many of us are trying to loose weight and drink more water, I have tried putting some lemon and lime slices in my glass and pretend its a gin and tonic!
