So late yesterday I was having some fun with my new Kaisercraft stencils and mists, and here is one of the results (3rd pic) - the piece on the right is the first spray and then as there was so much lovely ink all over the stencil I laid a panel on that and the left piece is the result.
Today I've made a card with the left stenciled panel for the Happy Little Stampers April 2015 challenge - Stenciling and the layout is for the Stamplorations challenge #31 sketch.
I die cut an opening in the front panel of my white card and ran it through the Cuttlebug again with the rubber mat to get a embossed edge on the cutout. Then I cut the stenciled panel to fit the inside of the card and attached it to a folded inner slip so it was free and there was a panel for writing. I finished the card with a pink label with a die cut Friend sentiment, a gem and a small pink flower.
Thanks for taking a peek Robyn
Hi Robyn. Such a great idea to take advantage of all the ink on the stencil to end up with two gorgeous backgrounds. So clever! And such a soft, delicate and beautiful card. Thanks for playing along at Happy Little Stampers.
ReplyDeleteOh Robyn... This is so soft and lovely I love how you stenciled the inside of the card. It opens up to a bright pop of color. Great design! Thanks for linking up to the STAMPlorations sketch challenge!
