You can also see a new Hello card (purple) from my best stamping friend Vikki and two cards (posted here) to the right I made yesterday at the local stamp shop - I go for the company and always end up twisting the cards to my colours and liking but they're a nice group of ladies and I get out of the house. Not much else is different on the desk - most things I used often are within handy reach. Now I'm off to make a cuppa and browse a few desk, thanks to everyone who visiting last week and hope you enjoying some lovely weather at your place. Cheers Robyn

What's On Your Workdesk, Wednesday?
Here's my desk this morning for the desk hoppers viewing from WOYWW week 306...don't have a clue what I'm talking about then pop over to Julias blog for more details. Yesterday afternoon I started to have a play with my Gelatos...for a card I'm making as a guest at Stamplorations...so I have covered over my try outs but you can see a few elements I've been playing with...it will be posted next Monday and if I get to post next Wednesday (I'm off again to visit the family while hubby is away working) -I'll pop in a copy.

I love your cards - the inchies are beautiful and I also love the rich orangey-red leaves on the second one - it really matches the background paper - absolutely gorgeous. Hope you have a great trip visiting family,

Such pretty pastel colours on your desk, offset by that luscious green of the baby wipes. It really is a pretty desk when you look at it. Looks like my initials on the left side of your large pad.

ReplyDeleteHi Robyn, looks like you've been very busy since last week. Lovely cards.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit and hoping you have a great crafty week. Happy woyww, Angela x
Lovely bunch of cards on your desk and we all twist things the way we want them otherwise the world would be a boring place. Gosh you should hear Bestie and me we are the same but very different in taste, I like bling and fussy and she is plain and simple, it is a compromise, but we always have fun. I am a bit worried with that Ice Cream container you didn't eat it all in front of the computer did you or while working at your desk LOL Only joking. Hope you have a great time with the family.

I like what you are doing with those Gelatos. It is a reminder for me to start using them. I have the same set and have not used them to date.

Lovely busy desk, Robyn, and the gelatos look fun. I keep hearing about them but have never tried them. Thank you for your lovely enthusiastic comment and your smashing welcome back to the land of the living and especially the hugs! It is good to be home from hospital, and I'm gradually settling back into home life and having to rest a lot. My friend went home on Sunday and my hubby is coping very well looking after me! I'm having some dermatitis problems but the stoma nurse is aware of the problem and has been helping me, and I have also heard that because the cancer was so aggressive I've got to have some chemo which isn't such good news. I've started working on my new "Gutless Bag Lady" blog over the past couple of days.
