I'm really liking this birthday card I've finished off this afternoon. I used the sketch at Always Playing With Paper #55. An easy background created with a few brush strokes of Distress Ink, a strip of gauze and a fussy cut floral image...also coloured with DIs. Finished with a matching layer and sentiment banner. Thanks for taking a peek
Perfect card Robyn. Sue

ReplyDeleteI bet that fussy-cutting took you forever! Totally worth the effort, though. Gorgeous! And I love the texture from that bit of gauze! Thanks so much for playing along with us this week at The Challenge!

ReplyDeleteWhat a stunner. I love poppies and with the splash of colour in the background and delicate gauze, this has perfectly set the poppies off. Clever girl!!

What a fantastic card. The poppies are beautiful against the pastel background. The gauze behind is a great addition. Barbxx
