SOS #244 - Cuckoo For You - Use Clocks
EDITED 1 April 2016
Today I am posting to Darnells bloghop....April Fool's Day Boo Boo Hop - post one of your oopsie-boopsies - where we're to share a card with a mistake, or something funny that happened in the making - can you see my mistake ... the clocks in the embossed background - they're back to front. I inked one side of the embossing folder with green and I didn't like how bright it was so I quickly inked the other side with blue and the result is that its all about face. I liked the effect and didn't realise till later the oopsie. Thanks for taking a peek
Hi Robyn,
ReplyDeleteLovely card and that sentiment is perfect.
Hope you have a lovely day. Sue
I was staring at that background trying to figure out how you achieved that loveliness. Thanks for the explanation - totally cool!
ReplyDeleteoh this is WONDERFUL! what a truly lovely card! thanks for SHOPPING YOUR STASH with us this week! ♥
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Robyn! Thanks for playing along with us at SHOPPING OUR STASH for our "Cuckoo for You" challenge this week!
ReplyDeleteStill is a really pretty card even with the boo boo hugs Nikki C
ReplyDeleteI don't think anyone would have noticed your boo boo if you hadn't pointed it out. Your embossed panel still makes a beautiful backdrop for that wonderful sentiment.
ReplyDeleteI thought your post was the April Fool's joke as I could see nothing wrong until you pointed it out and I'm sure nobody else will either! Still it's a good job we can laugh at ourselves isn't it? Still a great design though! Have a lovely weekend! Hazel xx

I certainly wouldn't have seen this as a boo boo. Your card is a beauty and I love the sentiment. Barbxx
ReplyDeleteSUPER card Robyn! I would never have seen the boo boo:)
ReplyDeleteI must admit you had me going there for a minute until I saw the fine print. I'm cocking my head left and right and I had all the hamsters in front of the monitor trying to work out the boo boo and none of us saw it!! Well done, Robyn! That is subtle was hilarious and just the sort of thing I would do!! Thank you so much for being a good sport and playing in my first BFCBB Hop! Enjoy the weekend!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteI would have definitely done that myself, Robyn! And, wouldn't we all like to go backward in time at some point? ;-)
ReplyDeleteI would not have even noticed it. I love the pretty card you made anyway with this design. I hope you are having a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteWell, if this gorgeous card is the result of a 'boo-boo' then carry on with the 'mistakes', I say! So very pretty! A fabulous 'oopsie' to share in this incredibly fun hop!

I was marveling over the gorgeous background you created with that awesome sentiment panel, and I never even noticed that the clocks were backward! I agree with what Helen F said above! :) The card really is beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteWow! I love what you did with that embossing and I don't think I would have noticed your boo boo! It's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI couldnt see it until you explained it and even then it looks fantastic. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteMarie
I think your card is amazing~the texture is WOW!
ReplyDeleteIt's just the miracle giving you extra time clock, right? Such a beautiful card, love the sentiment behind it. Cara x
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card and I wouldn't have noticed the backwards clocks if you hadn't said - they are obviously meant to convey the subliminal message "time must run backwards for you as you look younger every year"
ReplyDeletejane
What an awesome card! The design and coloring is so well done. and NO, I would not have noticed your boo boo without you posting what you did!
ReplyDeleteSo funny how the eye tricks one, none of us see it till you tell us, well done Robyn.
