Spread your Wings and Fly

This is my third card and a new creation today... a card swap friend sent me this die cut butterfly and I thought it teamed well with this monochromatic background which is actually the side of a tissue box (they do have lovely designs on them these days and yes I keep some of them). I layered it on matching yellow card to frame it and them stamped and embossed my sentiment.  I decided to give some shimmer to my butterfly so I glued sheer sparkly ribbon to it and fussy cut it out.  Then to finish my card I added some mini sequins to the butterfly and a scattering over the card.
I am playing along with Double 'D' challenge - use Sequins, CAS.ology - Butterfly (I hope my card is CAS), and to Happy Little Stampers - Anything Goes with Dies challenge.
Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day

  8. Oh, dear, I'm a little late, but I do love this! The side of a tissue box? Wow! Brilliant you to use it with the pretty butterfly. It's perfect! I also love how you backed the butterfly with sheer ribbon and added the multi-colored mini-sequins. Wow! Thanks so much for sharing in our sequins challenge at Double D!
